What is one of your favorite things about your home? (The balcony of your co-op, the Viking stove, the 10 minute commute to work, etc.)

hmm... my den probably, that was just supposed to be a summer only porch until my hubby ripped out the plastic wall and re-sheetrocked the whole room. Its got big windows around the whole room so its warm, bright and cheery. IN the winter with the storms in and the heat now on its own zone it usually stays warm enough too.

I have my comfy red couch from Macys that I bought when I moved to DC and pretty country style tables.

I love love love our hot tub room! We finally got furniture for it (all that's missing is the TV to hang over the hot tub - which hopefully we'll have in the next couple of weeks). It's now my favorite room of the house.

I promise to take a picture and post it tonight when I get home! Love it.

OMG, I look forward to seeing that! That sounds incredible!!!

Hmmm...well, my apartment is certainly special lol. But once you get past the oddities, such as no front windows, original 1950s bathroom , wonky plumbing...the kitchen is HUGE. And there's a ton of cabinet space, plus a pantry, walk in closet, linen closet, and deep bedroom closet. For a small-ish apartment, 3 rooms and bath, it has a ton of storage, and though the living room is smallish, the kitchen more than makes up for it, we can fit a full size table for 6 in there plus have a ton of open space to walk.

we live in a box lol..but my fav thing is that its ours

so my thing about it is simply that i can say my hubby and i live here

I love my kitchen. It has a great layout and great light. I also really love our front porch.

i love the fact that for our first place we were able to build it from scratch and put whatever we wanted in it...i was able to pick everything, from the floors to the paint to the cabinets and corian counters, i made every decision (and i really did make most of the decisions, DH was very trusting. he only chose the huge double refridge which takes up 1/2 of the kitchen, into the dining area, but its great!)

We have a lot of space, a lot of closets, and we're within walking distance of our downtown. I know that's 3, but it was hard to choose!

Location in Roslyn Heights ie proximity to LIE and Northern State which makes everything very easy. Other than that I would have to say my bathroom and kitchen that we remodeled when we bought the house in '03. I really am not super happy here and am really ready for our own 'real' house, not a townhouse. I want a driveway! Ahh! Sorry but this question comes just as we have made the decision to finish the remodels on our house, sell it, and move out!! Buy a new little place to start fresh!!

Is it the 'F' me bench in your bathroom that you love so much?
