**THURSDAY NWQOTD**

DH and I met at Starbucks. I was there and he came in from the parking lot because his car battery had died, and he needed a jump. I don't normally make it a habit to go out in to dark parking lots with strange men at night, but after a quick assessment I figured I was bigger than him and could take him if he tried anything funny. We ended up not being able to use my car since my car at the time had a weird bar over the battery, but I stayed with him until we got it fixed, and hit it off. It was a bonding experience for sure...it was beginning of November but it was FREEZING that night, and we had to run across the street to the gas station to borrow cables, find someone else that could help, etc...it was very surreal, but I don't know, I guess I kinda decided that night that I was going to marry him. Once I make up my mind, that's it I think it took a little more convincing on his part, and sometimes I'm still not 100% sure that he doesn't regret staying home that night, now he's stuck with me

We met freshmen year of college walking home from Urban Legends with a group of people. NO I did not think we would end up married. I didn't even think we would date. I either wanted to be up at BC with my High School sweetheart or wanted to date one of our GMs, who ended up being my best friend instead. I loved DH, I thought he was a sweetheart, but way to quiet for me.

I probably can say I didn't even think I would end up married to him when we started dating since we were only in college. Not until we got back together.

dh and i were childhood frends..we met when we were 12 and then we went to high school and college together and we were ebst friends..then one day he put the moves on me and after a few no's i couldnt help but give in and i knew from then we would alwys be together cause i was truly marrying my best friend

DH and I were best friends since I was 15 and he was 17. We had strong feelings for each other then but never said anything to each other so to get over him, I began dating someone else who happened to be a good friend of his..and we wound up lasting over 2 years. The three of us were best friends throughout those 2 years but meanwhile, DH drunkenly had confessed a little over a year into that relationship that he was in love with me but I stupidly stayed with his friend, even though I was being treated like crap. The next few months were agony because I liked DH soo much still but I loved my boyfriend too. 9 1/2 months later, things were at their worst in my relationship & DH and I were wasted on New Years Eve and we kissed and I left my boyfriend 2 days later. This is the extremely short version lol.

Not the ideal start to a relationship but it made us really appreciate what we have. As soon as I felt DH's lips that night, I knew that I had to be with him.

DH and i met at work (still work together). we were both in a relationship when we first became friends. we used to talk all the time, starting hanging out here and there. he wasn't in his relationship anymore but i was. we became SUCH good friends that when i broke up with my boyfriend we both knew that we were going to get together... 4 years later = married with a beautiful little girl.. i knew i was going to marry him - but it was when (bring out the corn) we first kissed. crazy butterflies that i never had before and i STILL have to this day...

Short story....DH and I met on a blind date that happened about 5 years AFTER it was first brought up to either one of us.

I knew we were going to get married from our first date. When he dropped me off at my apt - he said 'Call you tomorrow' very casually like that was normal.....for some reason it just felt right.

I knew from the moment laid eyes on him!!!! I saw him and just 'knew' something was awesome about him.

How and when did everyone meet their DH and did you think when you met him that you would end up married??!

Met DH by searching through member profiles on AOL back in late 2000... On our first date, he picked me up... I thought he looked a bit diff from his pic he sent me and I def remember telling myself 'This will be my first and last date with this dude ever...' WOW... I couldnt have been more wrong

he lived next door to my grandmother and the minute i saw him i knew i was going to marry him

We met at one of the bars we had always gone to. I had noticed him and said to my friends Im gonna meet him one day. sure enough not to long after, a few weeks I guess, he started to talk to me and that was it form then on
