Tipping at the wedding
OK, all you newlyweds, I need help.Who did you all tip at the wedding and who did you have give what? We have gotten all sorts of ideas and advice on this one and are pretty generous as a rule but are starting to feel very much taken advantage of. How did all you married ladies handle this. Please be as specific as possible.

Re: Tipping at the wedding
This is exacty what I did and what i would do if I could redo it!I tipped the matre D $360, based on 4 dollars fpr 90 guests, I tipped the florist delivery guy 20 bucks, he just delivered the bok's, I tipped makeup over 20 %, it was 125 and I gave her 40, but she really did a great job and we just loved her! I tipped the hair over 20%, my updo was only 60 and I gave her 30 bucks,
the ceremony musicians I have 25 a peice, the REv we didnt tip, he works for himself and our fee went to noone, so we didnt tip on top of it, we tipped our DJ 200 bucks, we tipped the videographer 100, was told we didnt need too because he owns the company, but felt he was there all night whethere he owned it or not, here is what I would ahve done differently, we tipped the photographer 150 ( he was there for 3 more hours than the videographer, tahts why he got the extra 50), but if I could do it over again, we would have tipped him half and then the rest upeon picking up thr proofs, my pics did not come out good, not really what i wanted and I wish i didnt give his tip up front.
I think thats it for tipping!

Re: Tipping at the wedding
We gave the maitre'd $350and the staff $25 each. We tipped the DJ $50, the limo drivers $50 each and the guy who delivered the flowers $40 (i think). I also tipped the bagpiper $25. We didn't tip the photographer or videographer because they own the company. Oh, and I tipped my hairdresser $30 on a $95 updo. I think that is it.Welcome New Vendors
