Tonight will be the first time since we got married....

that I will be home by myself all night and sleeping in our bed alone. Due to the snow coming and DH not being able to get out of work early, he is staying at ILs house at least for tonight. I am going to miss him tonight.

I know you'll miss him, but if you talk on the phone just before you go to bed, it helps!

And sometimes it's nice to have the bed all to yourself

I know that it will be nice to have the bed to myself tonight. We definately going to talk on the phone. It will be like when we were dating and engaged.

Lisa, how ironic you posted this ... the very same thing is going on with me and my DH tonight - he also isn't going to risk driving home tonight in th bad weather, and this will be the 1st time we are not together overnight since we've been married either

Anthony is going to stay at his parents house on LI rather than drive home from his job in Woodbury to our house in Westchester ...AND then having to drive back to work on Tuesday morning (he cannot take the day off )

While I much rather he be safe than drive home in that mess, (I worry about him as it is doing that commute even on a good day) I'm really going to miss him!!

Felicia, that is exactly how I feel. He is coming from Woodbury too and I rather have him drive the 25-30 minutes to his parents house so that I know that he is safe and is already in LI if has to go to work tomorrow. He can't take off either. I ironed him a couple of shirts last night and he packed a bag. I was so sad this morning when he left for work.

Tonight will be the third night in a row we aren't together. We are usually apart two nights a week but never in a row. As much as I miss him, it's kind of nice sleeping in my old room.

He just left work now and is coming home. Since the snow is not sticking to the ground yet, he is going to come home.

So happy to hear that Lisa My hubby is still at work , he cannot leave early (stupid company!) So he is still planning on staying with his folks most likely

He was not suppose to leave early but in order for him to leave early, he has to make up the time Sunday morning.

I am alone for 6 weeks out of 8 becauze of this damn new job. So I know how you feel! I am eating a giant ice cream sundae for dinner.. cheers me up!
