I grew up in FP too! What grade did you graduate and did you go to FPM?

Raised in FP since age 3.5. DH grew up in Wantagh since age 5. Live in Queens with DH. I wanted a Queens wedding but most of the places I found during my search was LI so we stayed on LI.

I grew up in BayShore/Brentwood... basically 11706 (bayshore) zip, but brentwood schools...
but i went to sjb for grades 9-10 and North babylon for grades 11-12.

um, dh grew up in west babylon.

we currently live in west babylon- RIGHT around the block from my in-laws. (it takes half a cig to walk from my front door to theirs)

um... chose verdi's of westbury because we went to 17 halls, contacted like 20 others and that was the only one in our price range that we liked....
i kick myself now!

Dh in Babylon.
We live in Bohemia now.
We were almost booked to have our wedding in St. Thomas but we had our li wedding.

Grew up in Queens

Had the wedding at the Swan Club because it wasn't too far from Queens and had a garden feel to it, which I couldn't find at venues in Queens/Brooklyn.

DH is a queens boy

moved to queens b/c commute for work was best for both of us

LI wedding cuz of the prices!!

I grew up in Highland Mills, NY (right down the road from the Woodbury Commons)

DH grew up in Mt. Sinai so he's pretty far out on the island.

We have lived in the city for 4 years now....we got married on Long Island because there were a lot of really nice places that weren't too far from the city.

We have lived in the city for 4 years now....we got married on Long Island because there were a lot of really nice places that weren't too far from the city.

I grew up in Bayside queens. But have lived out on LI for 12 years now. So our wedding was out on LI since this is where a lot of my family is now and friends,

I remember the name. It wasn't that big of a high school LOL! I'm only 3 years younger.

I grew up in Kings Park, DH in Westchester...

We live in Queens now because it's easier for us to each get to our jobs (he takes the subway to the city, I drive to Bethpage).

We chose NRC since it was a semi midpoint between my family who lives further out on the island and his family coming over the whitestone bridge.

Where is your DH from in westchest? Mine is from Yonkers but he is the youngest of 5 kids and they're all over the county now!

Do you think you guys will ever live there?

I grew up in Queens, DH grew up in Great Neck and we live in Great Neck now.

We picked to have the wedding on LI because we fell in love with the NRC and couldn't imagine having a wedding anywhere else.

I grew up in Valley Stream/Elmont area.
DH grew up in Floral Park.
Currently live in RVC
Had our wedding in Bethpage/Farmingdale area. 90% of our wedding guests are from LI so I wouldn't think of having it anywhere else.
