TV in the bedroom?

So, DH and I just completely renovated our bedroom. We painted, cleaned the rugs, bought new furniture, comforter set, etc. Well, the TV we had in there was old so we threw it out. Now Im kind of liking the room with no TV in it. We are going to discuss it tonight and see if we really should get one or not. Do all of you have TVs in the bedroom?

I am not a fan of the way the tv looks in the bedroom, but I can't be without one. I can't fall asleep without tv on. We have a huge tv in our room 42 inches lol. We got such a great deal on it we couldn't pass it up. It looks like a spaceship has landed in our room at night, drives poor DH crazy but I need it!!!

we have a 32 inch flat screen we hang on the wall, it looks nice I like it better on the wall then on the dresser

personally i do not think a tv belongs in the bedroom - i like the way a room looks without one.....with that said - we have a big *** tv in our room we got it b/c it was on sale after the holidays - i think its a 36 inch - but when we buy our bedroom furniture for the house the tv is going in an armoire - that was the compromise between DH and I

We have a flat screen mounted on the wall, otherwise maybe we wouldn't have. It's not that big so it fits nicely. Actually, it ended up being my Christmas gift to him last year. We caught a sale too, so that was nice.

or you can get one to put on the wall, thats what we have. It doesnt take up any space

That's what I love about mounting it on the wall. I really wanted to get a flat screen for the living room and do that...in time.

for me i always had a tv in the BR, even as a kid so i guess thats why for me it would seem so weird not to have one bc ive never not had one in the BR.

yes that is the kind of TV we have - an lcd flatscreen that you can put on the wall if you want - but i don't want to be able to see a tv at all - i want it hidden completely - i don't think electroncis belong in the bedroom - i think bedroom should be for sleeping, relaxing and intimate time - not glued to the TV.....BUT i still do enjoy having the option to watch TV when i am in bed someday soon i can put it in a nice cabinet and it will be completely hidden and i will be Hopefully less TV time and more action

me too - i have always had TV in my room at home and so did DH - but when DH and i moved in together we said no TV in the bedroom - and eventually we ended up with the TV in there anyway hahaha

I have one in the bedroom and one in the living room. On sundays when DH wants to watch football I curl up in bed and watch a movie or E!, MTV...I love it It avoids many fights During the week though we usually always watch TV together in the living room....Like friday DH had his friend over and they were watching basketball...I was in the bedroom with my TV most of the night

We have one. I never used to want one but DH insisted and we both had tvs when we moved in after college. I like it now because we have a sleep timer on it. I really like falling asleep with the tv on now.

That's what I love about mounting it on the wall. I really wanted to get a flat screen for the living room and do that...in time.

All of our TVs are mounted to the wall, well except the tube! I can actually put chochkies on the furniture!

yup - we have a tv in the bedroom. i don't think it would be the worst thing in the world if we DIDN'T, but i do like having it there. Sometimes it's nice to cuddle up in bed and watch some tv before falling asleep. Or on the weekends to wake up and turn it on. It kind of give us that little bit of extra cuddling time, so I enjoy it

we have one...we've gotten too used to putting on the sleep timer (an old habit that started in college) that i dont know if we could fall asleep without it.

We have one. It does NOT interfere with our *ahem*.

It's good for lazy Sunday/Saturday afternoons when we don't want to get out of bed.

We do but hardly ever watch it. Sometimes one of us will go in there if the other is watching something the other doesnt watch. And we usually watch Two and a half men before bed.
