UGH! My hubby and I just got into it!

We were talking about how I want to go visit some friends in Canada next month for a weekend. He started to tell me that it will cost too much money and maybe we could go another time?

I was fine with that up to the point to where he started saying that I spend too much money.......on clothes. I bought 3 pair of pants from express 1 month ago totalling $180.00. He just spent $1100.00 on work clothes a few months before our wedding!!!!

THEN, he said the ULTIMATE!!!!! He said that I got an engagement ring and that it cost A LOT of money so I really shouldn't be saying that I don't spend MONEY!!!! ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE bought that for ME because HE wanted to MARRY me!!!!! OH - NO - HE - DIDN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just told himt that I could NOT have this converstaion any longer. I hope that he realizes what he said and apologizes to me!!!!!

UGH! Men!!!!!

My thought is ---its just money - ya can't take it with you so you might as well have fun w/ it :)

DH and I are also having our share of financial based 'disagreements' lately. The wedding puts a strain on the ol' bank account. He ALMOST pulled out the e-ring as ammunition the other night but quickly retreated once he saw my face in anticipation of his comments.

You and your DH look to be so deeply in love that I am sure this will blow over pretty soon, though it doesn't make it any less annoying...Here are some hugs for you anyway

I def think finances are going to be the biggest adjustment for us as well.

I know you guys will forgive eachother and slowly work out how to handle these issues in the future...i hope we do too!

oy Kristy this is normal! DH and I had these arguments for awhile after we first started living together, we were so used to our normal habits.

We have lived together for 6 years now and STILL argue about who spends what.
