UPDATE: Pics fixed!!!!! Need help! Stylish kitchen gurus coem out to play!

Ok ladies sooooo Pete and I never used our registry rewards that we got from Macy's. (For anyone who doesn't know what that is, basically for every dollar spent by people who bought stuff from your registry you get some back and at the end when you close out, you get that percentage in $$ on a giftcard! AWESOME cause its essentially 'free' money. LOVE Macy's~!)

But they expire a year to date essentially and ours expire next month. We do need a few things so it works out well but now I am stumped.

We ave the fiesatware dishes (LOVE em!) in red, orange and yellow. So I was originally going to buy new everyday glasses from their set that match BUT now I saw other glasses that match a diff set by Macy's THE CELLAR that I kinda love. SOOOO I need help!

DH wants to stick with the fiestaware and get it in two other colors (peacock which a bright blue and shamrock which is a brigth green.) I was thinking of gettiing two-four sets of that CELLAR floral pattern instead because the colors compliment the dishes we have now. its clash of the NW couple lol

So I leave it up to the discretion of the ladies:

This is NOT close to the color we have-online it looks ugh but in person its like Home Depot orange.

Again the colors are off online. In person its Big Bird yellow. Really cheery when you open the cabinet.

I loooooooooove the big bold color schemes you guys have going on....i'd stick with that and go with exhibit A. (sorry you can beat me now)

on noo i'm of no help - i love both! lol. i will say i'm not super crazy about the glasses..... but as for the dishes it's a complete tie!!!

I like that the colors of the flowers match the dishes you already have. I like the look of mismatched matched stuff but I'm not crazy about the dishes you picked, I'm not a big fan of florals.

I'm not to keen on what Petey picked either. All of the dishes you have are in the red family and the dishes he picked will ruin that theme.

I'm not really helping am I. If I had to pick I wuld go with the dishes you like.

I like the floral dishes. They pull out the colors you already have and you could use your fiesta dinner plates as chargers and the floral plates as your actual plates. Breaks it up a bit, I think.

Yea thats what I think too. originally I picked only red and 2 shades of orange but he threw in the yellow. Now he wnats the blue and the green. The beauty of fiestaware is you CAN mix and match because its all the same style BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT...

Do you think they go even though thwy're two diff styles?

Love the floral dishes, not so crazy about the blue ones that Pete likes. The green is nice, also goes with the floral.

Glasses work with everything. Stripes and floral go together very well.

Compromise - you get the floral dishes and Pete gets the striped glasses.

I think thats the best idea. I think stripes and florals go ok. We're ecclectic anyway. LOL I have to show you guys what i did to my kitchen; I found these gerber daisy easy peel decals and plastered them all over the top part of our wall in the kitchen. brigth yellow and orange. LOVE it.

Martha Stewart I am not lol BUT to our credit everyone who's come over always comments how homey and inviting our apartment is.

Since the colors match the plates match, it doesn't matter about the fiestaware being a heavier plate.

My friend has the fiestaware plates in all the colors. She said she wishes she picked a few colors because when she has guests over she goes nuts making sure the table is in color order and the same number of blue plates as purple plates are on the table. This is why i don't cook at home

Since the colors match they do go match, it doesn't matter about the fiestaware being a heavier plate.

LOL GOOD point! We have diff colored table mats and that drives me nuts as it is. Ok I think the floral plates and Pete gets the glasses. They have the matching floral glasses but they have autumny colors in them as well and that clashes I think.
