Ok ladies sooooo Pete and I never used our registry rewards that we got from Macy's. (For anyone who doesn't know what that is, basically for every dollar spent by people who bought stuff from your registry you get some back and at the end when you close out, you get that percentage in $$ on a giftcard! AWESOME cause its essentially 'free' money. LOVE Macy's~!)
But they expire a year to date essentially and ours expire next month. We do need a few things so it works out well but now I am stumped.
We ave the fiesatware dishes (LOVE em!) in red, orange and yellow. So I was originally going to buy new everyday glasses from their set that match BUT now I saw other glasses that match a diff set by Macy's THE CELLAR that I kinda love. SOOOO I need help!
DH wants to stick with the fiestaware and get it in two other colors (peacock which a bright blue and shamrock which is a brigth green.) I was thinking of gettiing two-four sets of that CELLAR floral pattern instead because the colors compliment the dishes we have now. its clash of the NW couple lol
So I leave it up to the discretion of the ladies:

This is NOT close to the color we have-online it looks ugh but in person its like Home Depot orange. Again the colors are off online. In person its Big Bird yellow. Really cheery when you open the cabinet.

Jenn, I am sorry that I am of no help. I like the dishes that you like and think that they will work well with what you already have. On the other hand I like the colors that Pete chose along with the glasses. That is why I have plain white dishes because I can't make up my mind.

Jenn, I am sorry that I am of no help. I like the dishes that you like and think that they will work well with what you already have. On the other hand I like the colors that Pete chose along with the glasses. That is why I have plain white dishes because I can't make up my mind.
LOL so k Pattty. I know. I am torn also. Logical is saying stick with fiestware because its a pattern that will always be around versus if we break the other style then hard to replace it. BUT We haven't broken any plates yet, knock on wood.
But logic aside I like the florals. BAH I'll think on it through lunch. maybe the 'right' choice will come to me.

If you get the striped glasses, then try to get matching striped placemats. It will 'pull' everything together.

BUUUUT - i stand by my original opinion that i'm not crazy about the glasses with them..

personally i don't like floral plates to begin with , so i am going to be biased. i have a set of terra cotta colored plates that are very similar to the fiesta plates. so naturally my vote is for the fiesta plates! i think they are more timeless

Yea I agree with that part. BAH They're just so much FUUUUN. Im kinda a boho chick in some ways. Very eccelctic so they appeal to me. When I saw them in macysa efw months ago I went OOOO and actually walked UP teh down escalator lmao to get a closer look> DH though id lost my mind.
Mind you I normally HATE mix and match-like I can mix and match fiestaware cause its the same pattern but HATE mixing other patterns. BUT because we have the colors.....Im torn!

yay, thats a tough one! when i was looking for everyday plates, i would try to imagine food on the plate ..and ask questions like will the pattern look too busy or will it compliment the food? also ask yourself if you these are plates that you think you will enjoy 5 years from now
- the last question is something i always ask myself when i am making a decision about fine china, stemware, flatware- stuff that doesnt get replaced....
