Update:Does anyone know if there is a virus going around?
DH has had a high fever since Friday 103.9 to be exact. He also has stomach pains and headache. We spent all day at the hospital yesterday and every single test he took came back normal. He took chest and abdomen scans, the doctor said everything looks great. All his blood work is normal. They sent him home and said it might be a virus let it run its course. ahh hello, he been sick since friday? We are confused and don't even know what to do now

My DH was sick most of last week. I think he started to feel run down the weekend before. I don't believe he had a fever, but he was throwing up, had the chills and had pains in his stomach. The pains in his stomach lingered until late in the week. His cousin's wife works in a doctor's office and said the same thing...it lingers and just has to run its course. I was starting to worry too. He STILL has a high fever? That's usually a sign of an infection somewhere. If he doesn't start feeling better in the next couple of days, maybe he should go to his doctor.

My friend just had a bad virus for 2 days, nothing was staying down, fever...the dr. said it was a virus!

There's a stomach virus going around - keep DH hydrated. What did the ER give him for the fever ? High fever should have abated by now.

Believe it or not they just gave him Tylenol.
What are the symptoms of the stomach virus going around?

last friday i was DYING in the bathroom----puking and diarrhea for 2 days straight and fever.
i think there is something going around. hope your DH feels better soon

Oh, there has definitely been a virus going around. I thought I was doomed to get it too.

Tylenol is good for the fever. It should have brought it down by now. If he's still got the fever though, I'd bring him back to the ER or to your family doctor.

Update:
DH is fever is normal!
His fever is completely gone. He is just sweaty all the time. But, he does have some stomach pains. His physician called to check up on him and he said that is great news his fever is gone and the virus is just trying to run its course. He also said he should be better in a day or two.

My parents had the same thing! Got sick last monday and were sick up until this past sunday! Its going around.. hope he feels better!

wow, I am glad they are better now.
What were their symptoms and did their doctor diagnosis anything?

Glad to hear his fever finally broke! It really isn't just a 24 hour thing. Hopefully he'll really start feeling better now.
