Upset

Original post by PeteysBride

Ok so I got our picaboo Album-looks great, beautifl fabulous...BUT...with soem of the formal shots, I noticed they were fuzzy-they were fuzzy in the shots for our parent albums oo but I thought I screwed up in MyPUblisher. So I go to check the original proofs and what do I se/ FUZZY ALL OF THEM ARE FUZZY! I never noticed before because on the small 4x6 scale doesn't show. But when you enlarge em...yea...REALLY fuzzy and that weird effect whn you take pics with a shi ittty camera....

Im so upset. I mean took me months to eb ok with the fact there were no many pics of DH and I but NOW to boot the formals are fuzzy...I want to cry...I really do. I have a CRAP memory and wanted beautiful pics to remember the day and they're crap and more crap... Didnt even geta shot with MYy MOM!....

I really regret allowing DH to sway me into believeing the typical 2,500+ for weddign photos was too much to spend because we spent 1800 and I hate them and we cant ever get that day back....

Just great.

Maybe try taking them to a professional photographer who will make an album for you. Since you have them on CD they might be able to sharpen them up for you.

Can't. My SIL is a professional-took our engagement pics and we didnt have her do the wedding not to stress her. But she can't do anything with the files. The quality is bad. Nothing can be done when the issue is poor quality, which is why photographers spend thousands ont he best equipment. My only option at this point is to make the pictures small-like 4x6 size which is awful for formal portraits because details are lost.

Jenn,
We are so sorry to hear about this. Can the photographer take care of this through the computer? The photographer really should be able to help you out.

Awww Jenn, this freaking SUCKKKKKKKKS! It really sounds like these are not hi res files but if he says they are then that means he probably because he didn't use a high megapixel camera! What kind of professional photographer does that?

Your pics are really great though - I really love so many of them and they did capture some really great moments. I know that my opinion or anyone else's don't matter because it's how YOU feel about them that matters, but if you can, try to focus on the great shots you DID get. I just feel really bad about this because you did such a great job on your album and I know you are so upset at getting it and the resolution not being sharp.

Sending you lots and lots of !

Thanks guys. Love ya all lots. Just a suck *** day. Led to fights with DH about old stuff...lots of personal mess and just really harsh words...I know we will eventually get past it but its just compounded for a crappy *** week.

hopefully the company will be able to do something. -faint smile- one funny thing about the crappy resolution is u can tell we are latinos..all of us have this weird halo aroudn our heads-lmao I think its from our hair frizzing and the shutter speed because its blurred and bad res so makes us look like we have the Frizzies en masse. I know how hard it is to be disappointed in your wedding and your vendors. I realized the day after my wedding that they never took a picture of me and my grandmother, none of the entire bridal party together, or the group shot of my cousins I requested. Now my photographers have gone completely MIA, I'm getting nervous that I may never even see my photos.

I have a terrible memory also and I remember almost nothing from my wedding day. I'm sure if I'm not happy with the pics, I'll spend a lot of time crying as well. (and DH will tell me to stop being a baby and get over it, and I'll tell him to stop being a jerk, and then we'll move on)

Don't feel bad about being upset over this. You're completely entitled. You haven't lost sight of the fact that your wedding was about your marriage, so once you've coped with these feelings you'll be fine.

Jen, I'm so sorry thta you're feeling this way!!! On the bright side- your pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!!!! You looked absolutely amazing and your day looked perfect!!! And in the end you married your perfect match!! At least you love your proofs!! Keep the ones that get blurry when blown up smaller. Maybe make a collage frame with the pics you love!! I know you're upset about your album, but It looked amazing!! You are probally the only one who notices its blurry!! Cheer Up!!

JEn FM me for my email address..
Send me some of the photos . I will work on a couple of them (to see if they are workable) and help you sharpen them.. BELIEVE ME I Do this for a living taking photographs, sharpening and fixing photos.. I can pretty much assess if they are salvageable.. I can't even imagine you are going through..I would be more than happy to help you out..
In the long run even I don't know what the photographer could do for you.. maybe some repro photographs but thats not enough
