V-day

What do you guys like to do? I'm just curious. Normally, DH always gets me a gift, we order take out and watch a Disney movie.

We don't like to go to restaurants on the day off. We usually go around that time.

we dont go out to eat the day of. last yr we spent it in ac with friends. this yr i willl be at a workshop so we might spend it the day b4..

who cares. we're married now.. no such thing as romance

We both think it's a fairly stupid, made-up holiday.

If he's going to buy me something nice or take me out, I'd rather he do it on his own intentions and not from the pressure of some crap printed on a calendar and crammed down his throat from the minute Christmas ends.

It's DH's birthday so we usually go away that weekend. We didn't last year because of the wedding but this year we're going to Baltimore/DC.

We're going to Mohegan for a night on the 11th for a concert, but that was an X-Mas gift.

We used to go out for dinner or take a long weekend away.

This year might be different b/c he's SUPER busy with tax season. We might not do anything.

Maybe I can convince him to do something Saturday when we get back from Mohegan.

we go out to eat. He gets me flowers and we exchange cards, but we never really hyped it up... vday to me was always not important... we take our anny more seriously.

yeah we're not big on celebrating...last year we went out with my friends and there parents, they had tickets to a comedy show and didn't take money from us at all, it was nice.

i'm just not a fan of going out and being rushed to eat my dinner, and i could SWEAR we're over charged on our bill, it's stupid. and I find it more sexy when a man buys chocolate the day after - 75% discount. LOL.

DH said I won the girlfriend of the year award. All his work friends wanted to get up on this after that...

They threatened to leave their wives.

I would so do that if I didn't need bathroom reservations LOL. Seriously fast food makes me sick now, I had White castle a few weeks ago coming home from a doctor and I was so miserable with stomach cramps.

But they were soooo goooood. :( I miss white castle. I buy the smart ones burgers, in the frozen section, they don't seem to do much damage.
