i think we may go into manhattan & pay a visit to 'The Bar Next Door' which is part of La Lanterna Caffe. We went there on our anniversary..it is such a great little spot really good food & doesn't break the bank...they have live jazz every night & a HUGE wine list...and the room is lit by only candles & firelight it's really just a cozy little place with a great atmosphere

Since it's a Saturday and everywhere will be super crowded, we'll most likely make a nice dinner at home and watch movies. Ah-maybe we'll watch the wedding video!

this sounds good too though!

congrats!!!!!

DH and I usually buy something for 'us' on vday and i make him cook dinner to give me a night off.....

this year i am thinking we need to get the wii fit!!!!

we dont really like to go out on crazy nights like vday cuz the places always rush you and you sit on top of the couple next to you and we dont really like that...
i prefer our couch and some wine....then move the party to the bedroom

We will either stay in for dinner and go out for desert and a drink or go out for dinner and have drinks.

We dont really exchange for Valentines day anymore just your little usual chocolates and stuff

Just dinner at home, maybe rent a movie.

it is a big joke with us that we have never had a good experience eating out on Vday. It was always something - shortened menus, being rushed out, having to sit on top of someone.

We would rather go out to eat for NO reason instead.

But we always make it special

It's true! The first year we went out 'on' Valentine's was like that so we never really liked to go out then. We would rather just go out on the weekend. Last year our hall had a dinner so we went there since I had never been to an affair there and they didn't do tastings. We're going to do that again this year, otherwise I would've been content to stay in too.

Re: valentine's day

this is our first Valentines Day together so I want it to be special. (not only the first one as a married couple but EVER - due to the fact that we used to be in a long distance relationship).

Last night we got our tickets to this great show. It's a dinner theatre kind of deal. I love those. They're playing The Producers which I've always wanted to see. And it's Colorado's version of Broadway. lol. I'm soooo excited!!
