Has anyone stayed at any of the W hotels in New York? Or had a service in the Bliss Spa? Recommendations? Letdowns?
I've had massages at the Bliss at the W at 49th street and I go there for waxing. They do a good job and the locker rooms are so nice. The actual treatment rooms are kind of clinical looking though.
I have massages at Bliss - usually once a year cuz DH or friends will give me a gift certificate. LOVE THEM! I've gone to both the Bliss on 57th and the one on 49th. Friends of mine have had facials there and have liked them.
I used to go to the Bliss Spa on 49th St for waxes when I worked in the city....they did a good job.

Heard good things...never went...willing to take the chance at Bliss with you![]()
we also stayed at the W in Times Square -- we loved it!! it's so modern & unique -- we had a great view of Times Square.
I stayed at the W New York and it was terrible! The room was soooo small and it was an upgraded room, and there was mold all over the bathroom. I also had a bad experience at another W, and I vowed I would never stay at any one again. But I am sure the Bliss Spa is awesome!

W Hotels are very nice and used to have travel size Aveda goods in the bathroom..woohoo..as for Bliss, I have had massages and a facial at the one on 57th..I like that one the best..massages are the best, facial, not as impressive as Metamorphosis in the same area...have fun!
Never stayed at a W hotel but have been to Bliss twice and I wasn't thrilled with them either time. I like to get massages alot and I think for the price Bliss charges they should be better. I have gotten better massages for better prices. I have only gone to the Bliss in SoHo.
