Want to see what I am buying?

Since many people are FM'ing me asking - figured I'd share my good news. I have signed contract and am waiting on the mortgage to be completed. The house is in South Bellmore. The owner would like to close by June 1st. I don't want to get too excited - in case something bad happens but it is very exciting and overwhelming at the same time.

Thanks to all the girls here who have helped me with all of their home buying and town shopping tips! This site has been helpful to me. Special thanks to christine1221, Cira, Fletch (for the Tiger!!), Suzanne (my neighbor - :EMO1) and merf - you guys have given me lots of info and guidance!!!!!!

Did you make plans on the inspection? who did you wind up going with?

Thanks everyone....Since you want details - it is a 4-bedroom with 2.5 baths. One side of the garage is converted to a room - which they use as a playroom and DH plans on using as a gym - he is a workout nut. The inside is done really nice - great floors. Outside can use a little cosmetic help - like new windows and stuff. The yard also needs some work.

Suzanne-Everything went fine with the inspection. Nothing we didn't know about. Couple little things and the owner promtly took care of them. I wound up using the inspection our lawyer recommend whose name escapes me right now - I want to say something with an A.

I can wait to have a BBQ!!!! DH loves to BBQ...he's great at it too! (I am the inside chef - he is the outside)....
