Since many people are FM'ing me asking - figured I'd share my good news. I have signed contract and am waiting on the mortgage to be completed. The house is in South Bellmore. The owner would like to close by June 1st. I don't want to get too excited - in case something bad happens but it is very exciting and overwhelming at the same time.

Thanks to all the girls here who have helped me with all of their home buying and town shopping tips! This site has been helpful to me. Special thanks to christine1221, Cira, Fletch (for the Tiger!!), Suzanne (my neighbor - :EMO1) and merf - you guys have given me lots of info and guidance!!!!!!

Thanks - all of you guys!!!

kathi - We both will be getting home so much later now that we have to commute - we will probably still eat at 9 - we are crazy!

November-DH just got a big screen tv as a wedding/christmas present last year! so you are right on target. The owners actually have almost the same exact one in their family room.
