Was anyone's train really wrinkled?
My daughter's wedding is Saturday and we finally brought the gown home. When we took the train down we saw deep creases and wrinkles. Bridal Reflections told me to bring it back to be pressed. We don't have that kind of time now.Any suggestions would be appreciated. The gown is silk satin, and I do have a steamer, or I can even pull the train onto the dining room table and press it with a dry iron. But I'm really scared to touch it. What if the steamer spurts water? It did improve overnight a little by hanging loose, but still not enough.
I am anxious to hear if you've had this happen and what you did, if anything. We all know it will only get wrinkled in the limo but who wants to slip on a wedding gown the morning of their wedding and have everyone see it wrinkled before you even take one picture?
Thanks so very much.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust steaming the gown on my own. I'd be petrified! You guys have enough stress as it is!Though you might not think you have the time-I would MAKE SURE I got back to Bridal Reflections and have them do it.

I agree with Cheryl. I'd go back to Bridal Reflections. I wouldn't trust steaming it on my own. Good luck!

Re: Was anyone's train really wrinkled?
When I picked up my dress (from Bridal Reflections!) the train was really wrinkled. We checked it before we left the store and made them steam it again. When we got home it was still a little wrinkled from being in the bag. My mom ironed it. Followed exact instructions from them - she put a towel/sheet over it - don't iron directly on it!!
