I'll add a little reply...so far I would have to say that my wedding day was the best day of my life...but, I hope that soon changes...I'm hoping that one day we'll have a child...that's what I want the best day of my life to be.

It definitely ranks up there as ONE of the most amazing days of my life but I also have to include my college graduation, the day we bought a home etc..

I wouldn't change a thing from my wedding day, because it was the perfect wedding to me. Even the power surge that knocked out the music for a few minutes at the reception seemed like something that would happen on MY wedding day

I think that getting married is easy. I hope that the best days of my life are made up of days that haven't happened yet and that on those days I will look at the choices I have made (such as marrying my DH and starting a family with him) and feel so happy because of them.

Don't get me wrong, my wedding day was fabulous. But a marriage is more than a wedding day. I think that through a long life (God willing), I will have days that I consider better.

I think the best day of my life so far, was when I was sworn in as an attorney and my DH (my boyfriend at the time) was there for me.

I can honestly say it was....

Graduating from college was fun but not as exciting as getting married and we haven't bought a house yet but I cannot wait for that excitment.

I think this will move into second place once the day of our first child's birth arrives

EXACTLY. When I graduated my DH (then boyfrined) made sure he wrestled the crowds to hand me roses and to tell me how proud he was. That is still a vivid memory in my head and i am blessed to have MANY exciting and memorable days. My wedding was one of them.

i agree with the others that said it was one of the best days. there are others that rank equally, college graduation, getting engaged, my 21st b-day, the day i got an a on my thesis. all good days. then again maybe if it hadn't rained and i'd gotten the picture perfect ceremony that i wanted i would feel differently. regardless i'm only 26 and i'm sure there will be many better days in the future so....

It was .... but I hope to have just as happy and happier days in my future.

I guess Im just not a very emotional person but college graduation, birthday, etc.. were not anywhere near as fabulous as my wedding day. Wedding day was like some sort of unatural high that I would have never even believed if I didnt experience it myself (people told me about it but I was like 'yea, right')

I can't really say so, though I can't say that about any other day in my life. What I really enjoy about life is progress so I am never very happy with just ONE thing.

Stef, my college graduation and law school graduation were both kind of boring to me. But when I got sworn in I was FINALLY done. Seven years of college, three of it law school, three months of studying for the bar, another three months waiting for the results, passing and then going to Annapolis to be sworn in. Thats a lot of blood, sweat and tears. And the most enormous weight lifted off my shoulders.

I voted no. It was a very memorable day, but not the best day of my life. So far the best day was when we were on our honeymoon and went on a hike 'by accident' (long story!) and ended up on top of a mountain with the most incredible, awe-inspiring view I have ever seen in my life. I replay that moment in my head so many more times than my wedding day.

it's funny....the best day of my life wasn't the wedding or the even the day DH proposed, it was actually a day about three months before that in May. It was my sister's graduation from college, my family was altogether (a rarity), the temperature of the day was one of those rare beautiful breezy lovely days, and TJ had just told me the night before that he wanted to get married soon- and get married to me. That revelation blew me away but made me so happy. The next day at my sisters graduation, I was walking around in blissful daze with the knowledge that I was going to marry this man that I REALLY wanted to marry, how easily it all fit with no work, walking around all day with a smile and 'glow' in that beautiful May breeze, in a weird peace I had never known before. Ahhhh so tranquil!!!!
Hands down the best day of my life!!!
