Waste of money!

I bought the cupcake mixes from Williams Sonoma. First of all, they have a photo of cupcakes with a creamy filling and a frosted topping. The kit doesn't even include the topping.

And, I still had to add in my own basic ingredients- eggs, butter, water.

The filling came out bad- I put it inside the cupcakes, but it got completely absorbed by the cupcake.

The package costs $12 and only makes 12 cupcakes.

HUGE WASTE!

I've done alot of the receipes on their web site though and it's always come out Awesome (and, overall, i'm pretty much Dangerous in the kitchen )

Thanks for the warning-- I've looked at that mix many times and always wanted to buy it!!!!!

One baking mix I DID like from WS-- I don't remember the exact name, but it was a gourmet brownie mix that came in a small fabric 'sack'. It was seriously DARK, RICH chocolate (rich enough to cut into small brownies) and it made a good-sized batch.
