DH & I are off to San Diego for Turkey day weekend.
We want to go away & thats the best time (long weekend). Plus I want to personally deliver my grandfather my wedding video! I haven't seen him in a few yrs. We are not staying with him but I will see him 1 of the days.
I used to live n Cali (but in LA).
Can anyone recommend good places besides the zoo & sea world? I know our time is short, but anything fun to do?

i drove to Tiajuana when I lived there & it was fun, but we have only 4 days, so I want to stay in SanDiego/LA. I know the whole Hollywood thing.......

I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My brother, sister-in-law and new nephew live in San Diego and I want to go!!!! My sister is going there for Thanksgiving too but I can't get off LaJolla is absolutely beautiful, my brother works there so I've been there a few times.

Have fun!!!!!! Enjoy everything!!! Go to Universal Studios and the WB tour. I think those were my 2 favorits when I was in CA.

It was a few years ago that I was there and we went to the Chart House. Not sure if it's still there... there were rows of restaurants and we just chose that one. It was really good!

I have never been to SD but have a great time, I figure it must be a great place to visit since Yabbobay moved there and left me here in NY.

Go to the Gas Light District for fun, drinking and dancing

San Diego is really nice...especially to leave NY when its just getting cold to go.
Already recommended but Tijiuana gets my vote b/c I really want to go and everytime I go to San Diego, I never get to visit.
I wouldnt recommend the zoo...its very expensive and i didnt think it was much better than the bronx zoo which is a lot cheaper. There are the pandas but you can barely see them anyway.
There is the downtown gas lamp area that has some tourist friend bars and restaurants.
