We got into an argument, so I went out for a night on the town!
OMG...it was really idiotic. I made DH stop playing video games and 'redo' the dishes because he is notorious for putting dirty dishes, pots, pans straight into the dishwasher, without even rinsing them.
So, of course, they go through the wash cycle and come out dirty.
Anyway, as he's washing the dishes, I'm sorting the mail and cleaning off the table.
So, he gets all pissy and says, 'You NEVER do anything around here. I do EVERYTHING'.
I don't know what possessed me, but I said,
'you know what. You're right. So, I'm just going to stop cleaning off this table and sorting the mail. In fact, since I don't do anything around here anyway, I'm going to go shopping.'
So, I put on my coat and went out. I visited my Grandma. I think she caught on that we argued cause she asked where he was. I just said, 'Oh, he's home doing the cleaning.' And, she just laughed.
Then, I went to the mall. I got a nice black dress and a new suit for work! The suit was originally $300 marked down to $79...and it fits SOOOO nice...
While I was shopping, he called to ask what I wanted for dinner. And, apparently he told the 'story' to one of his friends and his friend said, 'John, you're an idiot'
So, when I came home, dinner was waiting on the table.![]()
