Re: Wedding Gown Preservation

You might want to check with the place where you bought your dress, mine does it for $220.00

Re: Wedding Gown Preservation

I read in the Bridal Bargains book that gown preservation is a lie, all they do is dry clean it. Is that true? Anyone know?

Re: Wedding Gown Preservation

I took mine to my cleaners we have used forever. She told me they do dry clean the dress, but it's different from regular dry cleaning and the the true 'preservation' part is the way they pack it.

My dress was put in a special box wrapped in acid free paper stuffed in the boob area then the air was sucked out of the box and sealed. Air is what turns your dress yellow. They then put the dress box into another box for adequate storage. The box that the dress is sealed in has a big window so I can visit my dress. Hope that helps

I used Wedding Gown Preservation Co. Through Kathy from Follow Your Heart. It was $125 for everything and my dress is on its way back to me now.
