Years into dating we learned we get disappointed every year eating out on this day! Everything is overpriced and the food is never as good as a regular night.
I hate to stay in but I'd rather not be mad at what the result is!
A very romantic place in the city is Top of the Town in the Beekman Hotel.

Thanks for the recommendation We've actually gone out to dinner on V day for the past 6 years and have never been disappointed with the food, the prices - yes, but never the food.
Gotta make reservations quickly though, it's soo close!

we aren't really into it. Hopefully I won't get stuck at work and we can cook at home like we do every year and then go to Maggie Moos which is my ABSOLUTE favorite once a year treat!
We are going on vacation the following week though
