Ok, so before we left for our HM, I decieded to just dry my bouquet out. I was told to put it in a dark place, so I hung it in my closet. I am not sure if that was the right thing to do. Its still hanging there upside down. It seems to be looking ok....except where they put the rinestones... They're kind of dangling out of the bouquet. And the colors faded except the purple ones.
Now I dont know what to do with it. What did you gals do?

There is a lady in CT that does shadow boxes. She does a really good job. FM me for the info. After I pick it up I will post a pic.

I dried it and it just wasn't the same. So I threw it out. I wish I woulda been prepared for a shadow box or something!

I had mine in my fridge until 2 weeks ago and it dried beautifully.. but dh made me throw it out b/c he said it would attract bugs.. i wish i would have kept it

my MIL hung it up & dried it out for me while we were on our honeymoon. To be honest with you, I don't know what I did with when we got back. I don't know if I put it in the basement or if I ended up throwing it out

it wasnt the same bu ti kept my and have it in a glass case with my tiara and wedding stuff

the lady that did the preservation has a machine that takes all the moisture out of it, i guess like drying it out. They she makes a custom box for it and you can put either your invitation, or a pic of you and DH in it and it can be hung on the wall. You can call her and ask her if it can still be done. Im sure you can put it in a box. She also paints the flowers after if they need it to add color. ** this one isnt my bouquet its just from the website. Mine is finished I need to pic it up . I will post a pic when I do!

IMO, bouquets are supposed to be temporary...
DH summed up my attitude best... why hold on to it? When it was fresh, it symbolized a fresh and vibrant romance... Wouldn't a dried bo-k symbolize a dried-up romance?

I dried mine out.. It wasn't the greatest anyways so I may either put it a box or crumbled and make potpourriere (sp?)

i placed it at my moms grave.. i kept it for about 2 weeks- it STILL was beautiful.. but I didnt want to throw it out, so I put it at the cemetery & then I guess they threw it out

My favor was a Lenox vase so my mom dried my bouquet for me while we were away on our honeymoon and when I came back she had it all ready for me to take home in my vase. I put it in my bedroom and I love looking at it everyday!

what a great idea! the shadow box is a great idea too....i dried mine out...along the top of my kitchen cabitnets I have different style wine bottles, a few rose bouqets from DH that have dried out, etc...so it's up there. wish i woulda prepared it for a shadow box though???? or like pupidda did

I threw it in the garbage that night. I should've done that as soon as it was delivered to me when I saw the tiny bit of brown. 4 roses on my boquet died before the ceremony.
