Ok, so before we left for our HM, I decieded to just dry my bouquet out. I was told to put it in a dark place, so I hung it in my closet. I am not sure if that was the right thing to do. Its still hanging there upside down. It seems to be looking ok....except where they put the rinestones... They're kind of dangling out of the bouquet. And the colors faded except the purple ones.
Now I dont know what to do with it. What did you gals do?

i placed it at my moms grave.. i kept it for about 2 weeks- it STILL was beautiful.. but I didnt want to throw it out, so I put it at the cemetery & then I guess they threw it out
I should've done that as well. You did a beautiful touching thing.

I tried drying it out but it looked terrible and lost all its color. I'm going to try to re-make it with silk flowers.

I kept it for about a week but then it was all dead and shriveled up and started to smell bad, so I threw it out. I was so sad to get rid of it!!!!!!

I let MIL dry it out and keep it. We have a cat that would have eaten all the fhowers if I had kept it and I knew that MIL would do something nice with it. I know she still has it, I just don't know what she is doing with it.

I hung mine also, now its sitting in a glass cylinder we got from another wedding, nothing special. I might actually throw it out

Well....since it was half dead by the end of the night....(oh no wait....the begining of the day) I tossed it!
I wish I had saved some petals from it....i still have petals from the engagement roses...

hated mine so I will probably just toss it in a box as is. It's still in my mom's fridge [we left for our HM immediately so my family & BP took care of all that crap] If it was in my hands I probably wouldve left it behind at the RH!

I took mine and my MatOH apart and dried the majority of the flowers. I haven't figured out what to do with it yet though

I had mine in my fridge until 2 weeks ago and it dried beautifully.. but dh made me throw it out b/c he said it would attract bugs.. i wish i would have kept it
Mine was similar. It dried pretty well, but one side was smooshed. I think the sentiment was lost on DH. I threw it away.

I kept mine alive for 3 weeks.....then it turned brown and started to smell funny....so I tossed it. I have the pictures of it to last forever.

IMO, bouquets are supposed to be temporary...
DH summed up my attitude best... why hold on to it? When it was fresh, it symbolized a fresh and vibrant romance... Wouldn't a dried bo-k symbolize a dried-up romance?

I completely agree!
I put mine in the fridge with water and after we got back from our honeymoon it lasted outside for another week or then we threw it out. DH said he will buy me a bouquet with the same flowers for our anniversary

Mine stayed on our table in a vase for about a week, then it went in the garbage......it wilted really bad the day of due to the humidity and heat.......
