1. At my job, we have open desks that are right on top of each other. (I hate it) Everyday, my co-worker says, I got up this morning and ran 6 miles, oh and last night I went to the gym for 3 hrs. This is coming from a 100 lb woman. I give her credit for doing that and it is great, but she knows damn well that I'm aggravated for gaining weight and not being able to fully get back into working out yet. I just don't understand why people have to blurt out about their lives when I don't ask. All I do everyday, is say, how are you? Also, its not like this girl has no family or friends.
2. Another woman who is a chain smoker passes by desk several times a day on her way back from a smoking break all the time when I am working and pats me on the back and always says 'whats wrong'. Each time she does that I have the smell from her nasty cigarrets on me. It drives me nuts.

ever know someone who insists on doing the wrong thing or pressing wierd buttons on shared equipment, and messing it up? Like the people who screw up the xerox machine by putting the wrong transparencies or toner in?
well, I had a lab equivalent to this today. I put my samples in the scintillation counter. it was all set up to do things automatically. I walk away (it will be done in about 2 hours), and I get a call 20 min later saying my samples are not running correctly well, turns out, the machine was freaking out becuase this guy started pressing the interrupt button, and then several other buttons during my run (likely so he could cut in front of me.) why couldn't he just wait his turn like a normal human being??? at any rate, he kept pressing things until I yelled for him to stop, and insisted he get the person responsible for the machine to sort out the damage he created.
Fine, so now the machine was re-set, and he asked to run his 6 samples ahead of my 80... so I let him.... thinking he would not screw with anything... NOPE!
I come in, and see that he messed with the printout during my run! (The data is printed on a dot matrix printer... the kind you can roll the paper forward and backwards on). well, while he was likely tearing his results off of the printer, he rolled my paper BACKWARDS while it was printing... so things were printed ontop of each other, and everything was illegible....
what a train wreck this guy is.... I swear I'd go postal if he was in my lab......

ok it sounds ridiculous....but i have an issue wiht 'MY' things and things being put back where they were. One person in my office insists on using my shiit and then just throwing it or putting it on my desk-in front of me while IM working almost like for me to put back myself Im an only child IM still learning to share
AAAAND if I am not smiling and giggly one person insists on constantly asking me whats wrong~Im not going to sit in my office grinning

Peggie, I have the same f'in problem...I have my stuff in the courtroom with a note basically telling people if you don't put it back psycho bride will surface and bite their hand off!!!

theres this lady in my office thats constantly sniffling and its soooooooooo annyoing!!!!!
then theres the woman who has to butt in to a conversation shes not involved in and share her story and hers is always worse- ex i broke one leg many years ago well i broke both!! its like everythings a competition.

-Bring their personal lives into the office by having loud, very personal arguements with spouses/children over the phone all day long!
-Talk to me like I'm their child
-Read and comment on things from my computer screen from their desk.
-Try to sound more intelligent than they are (and making no sense at all!)
-Make everything all about them
-Constantly try to show me up or prove that they are smarter than I am by talking over me or cutting into a conversation.
-Really, really bad grammar when speaking and writing. ('Mines' is not a word and stood is not past tense for to stay!)
I'll stop now, but I could go on all day.

1. there is a woman that sits behind me that clears her throat all day. soooo annoying. get a cough drop lady!
2. there is another woman at work who literally stands on top of me when asking me for/telling me something. haven't you heard of personal space?
3. the woman in #2 is the biggest kiss-*** on the planet and in order to get her to do what you need her to do you have to treat her like sh*t and talk down to her. seriously, i tried being nice and she got an attitude with me, but if i act like her suprior (which i am not!) she is super nice and bends over backwards for me! um, what is that? (it's not just me - other people in my office have said the same thing!)
4. an older woman i work with insisted on putting the heat at 68 degrees - um, lady, if 72 degrees is good enough for you in the summer, it damn well better be good enough for you in the winter! (i would prefer it at 74, but oh well...)
i am sure there is more but these take the cake

Teachers who bring their kids to class late...or even worse pick them up late!!
One teacher pissed me off big time last year...the whole Webkinz craze...his kids would come in with like 2, 3 Webkinz each (these little stuffed animals). I told his aide to ask that they not bring the animals to class. I get a note in my box from the teacher, he sent me a copy of the sign he keeps in his classroom- NO WEBKINZ. he said he'd make sure the same rule applied for my room.
Okay umm...if it's outlawed in your class and you find it a distraction, why are you allowing your kids to bring them to my class? Is music just recess to you? Made me so mad! Lack of respect here!
I also don't like it when they just let their kids walk to class on their own if they're directly upstairs....the kids come in all out of control and it really sets a poor example. I'd rather have the communication with the teacher so we can report back to each other how the class went.

1. They are pigs!!! They never clean up after themselves -- I guess they are assuming someone else is going to do it. I can only imagine what their homes look like.
2. They are addicted to the phone. I swear some of them need to have it surgically removed from their ears.
3. They do the bare minimum to get through the work day. God forbid they are asked to do something different than they normally do. They immediately ask if they are going to be paid more money. It drives me INSANE!!!
