what do u feel about this?

great shes becoming famous now...

Ashley Alexandra Dupré, the 22-year-old at the center of the N.Y. governor sex scandal, is getting an unexpected boost to her music career.

JJ, a disc jockey for New York's Z100, the most widely listened to radio station in the U.S., and one of the most influential in pop music, played her song 'What We Want' on Thursday.

'Z100 is all about playing what's hot, and we can't think of anything hotter than a song from the woman at the center of a scandal that took down the governor of New York,' says Tom Poleman, SVP of Programming for Z100 New York. 'On top of that, it's a surprisingly good song. Looks like she may have a new career; this time in music.'

Dupré, a New Jersey native, posted the song on her MySpace page and made it available to buy for 16 cents on the music site Amie Street, which prices tracks based on popularity.

Since her identity was revealed, Dupré's MySpace page has had more than 5 million profile views – and growing – as of Thursday and the price of the song on Amie Street was up to 98 cents. A second single, 'Move ya Body,' also selling for 98 cents, had also been added by Dupré.

I agree with ya Taryn. She never made ONE apology for what she did. I mean come on...she slept her way to the top. LITERALLY. She is talkign about how she made it by working hard and pushign ehrself and its all about HER and not even ONE apology to his family. Yes he was a sleaze but he's also the hopefully former governor of NY. You knew who he was, you knew he had a family. Show a little shame and a little humility.

I she being prosecuted at all?

ITA! it makes me sick that she didn't even apologize for her actions. Its one thing to ruin your own life by being a hooker, its another to ruin an ENTIRE family...

And I really hope that she will be prosecuted, however I don't think she will unless that have proof, I heard they only had a wire tap, which isn't real proof of a sexual act.

Im sorry ladies, I dont agree with you guys at all.

I dont agree that she is has made it thru it all, I dont agree that she is astrong woman and I dont think he job is anything wonderful.

BUT HE went to her not her to him...I dont think she should have to apologize, whatever the reason that is her job and she did her job-he is the one that crossed the line and I dont think she should apologize to the family b/c SHE didnt send him smoke signals to come and meet wtih her and pay her...he CHOSE to ruin his family by meeting her, paying her and taking the actions he did.

ETA:If my husband cheats its his fault not the other chick, I mean I wouldnt like her but its still HIS CHOICE

i dont' think she should apologize. she didn't seek him out, he did this all on his own. if you choose that 'profession', you take any client that's willing to pay - it doesn't matter if they have a family or not. if they have the $$$, that's what matters. if she should be prosecuted, it should be because her profession is illegal in NY, not because a she had a married man as a client - i bet most of her clients are married men.

i also don't think she has slept her way to the top. she's sooo far from the top. she's getting her 10 (not even 15) min of fame right now, but it's really bad fame. she doesn't have any records out, no #1 hits. yes her song is getting airplay, but because of how the public is reacting to her. she will be old news by next week (OK , in NY maybe 2 weeks).

IMO: The reason came out to become famous. I'm sure she will milk every second of it. I wouldn't be surprise if I see her in one of VH1 show, playboy or some stupid reality show.

Exactly.
And i dont think she owes anyone an apology, for what exactly? This is/was her day job, she comes from a broken/drug abusive home, and obviously she wanted to take the easy way out. Thats her choice.

I think it's just sad in America right now how we glorify and worship idiots with little or no values...if she was a stripper I'd respect her...but she's a hooker...which makes her a criminal...she could've gotten a job at Starbucks but i guess she wouldn't have been able to live the lifestyle she wanted....it seems like no one in America wants to actually work for things anymore....it also saddens me how some of the most popular shows now are 'Reality' TV shows of people with more money than God parading around spending it like it's going out of style....while we ignore the REAL heroes and people who should be getting praise and more money....like our Soldiers, Teachers, Police, Fire etc....the people who actually contribute to society and make a difference daily...... sorry for my soapbox rant...

See, now I don't think she should apologize to his family. She was just doing her job, and it's not like its a moral one. HE is the one who disgraced his family.

Yes, she should be prosecuted for doing something illegal, and NO I don't think she should be capitalizing on that, but to say that she should apologize for hurting his family is a bit extreme.

If this was someone the family knew personally, or someone he was sleeping with and NOT paying I would say that MAYBE she should apologize. But she was being paid, it was her job, it's not like she seduced him into coming home with her.
