Sorry if this was done if the past, but what do you call your in-laws. This has come up in my circle of friends and worrying if any of you had problems addressing your in-laws.

This I find strange too. I can call DH's grandmother grandma and I even have long phone conversations with her. I don't even have long convos with my own grandmother.

MIL: Mom to her face, first name when she's not around FIL: first name
DH's parents are divorced so they're not around each other a lot. His dad has never acted like a dad to me, so I can't all him that.

We both call each others parents by their 1st name. When we have kids it will probably change to Nan and Grandma and Grandpa
