I continue to call them 'Mr' and 'Mrs' despite them encouraging me not to anymore....mr and mrs is just so damn easy....they've both asked me to come up with something else!
One thing is for sure, I won't be using Mom & Dad....
My BIL and SIL and I are in the 'out-law club'....
SIL calls MIL 'Ma' short for Mary not Mom... BIL calls FIL 'Coach'.....

When speaking to them i call them by their names...
When addressing them in written form?
I text FIL sometimes and will call him 'pops' sometimes.
I write 'Mom and Dad E' on their cards or whatever because that's how they sign their cards to us.

nothing lol when i speak t them, i look directly at their face and they know im talking to them lol

how about Mrs. {first name} & Mr. first name?
my SIL used to do that before she called my mom mom. Mrs Barbara. Sounded so cute
thats what the cleaning lady calls my mom. mrs donna
i call her by her first name because shes been married too many times idk which last name to use.

first names. dh calls his parents by their first names, so it'd be pretty weird for me to chime in w/ mom and dad!
