What do you call your in-laws?!

I continue to call them 'Mr' and 'Mrs' despite them encouraging me not to anymore....mr and mrs is just so damn easy....they've both asked me to come up with something else!

One thing is for sure, I won't be using Mom & Dad....

My BIL and SIL and I are in the 'out-law club'....

SIL calls MIL 'Ma' short for Mary not Mom...
BIL calls FIL 'Coach'.....

I personally don't have it in me to call them by their first names. Its weird and stupid of me, I know, but I just can't.

it looks bad but i call them mami and papi cuz thats what everyone calls them including DH's 7897846 cousins

eta i never felt comfortable calling them by their first names

I always called them Mr. and Mrs. so it's been hard to stop. I REFUSE to call them 'mom' and 'dad' so instead of call them by their last name I shorted it to 'Mr. and Mrs. T'. My parents always had us call our friends names by Mr. and Mrs. and my parents friends by their first names so it's hard to break the habit PLUS I feel REALLY weird calling them by their first names.

This is what I started doing after their 3rd-5th request that I stop calling them mr and mrs.

I generally don't call them anything ... but if i do, i use their first names

if i'm talking to someone else, i'll say 'Craig's mom' or 'Craig's dad' more often than not.

they will NEVER be mom & dad to me.

my SIL used to do that before she called my mom mom. Mrs Barbara. Sounded so cute

Oh hell ya...I mean I will NEVER call them Mom and Dad for sure...not even an option. Nevermind the fact that my MIL def wouldn't win the 'MIL of the year award'........

my MIL is 5'0...I'm 5'8...so I literally TOWER over her...but I can feel her glare like cutting threw me when she puts me on the spot over this. I want to pick her up and put her outside.
