Im not married yet, but Ive been pondering this question for awhile. They say one you have kids its much easier. You can just refer to them as grandma and grandpa!

I call them by their first names. It seemed strange at first to me but luckily, my husband's sisters are married and their husbands call our in-laws by their first names so it was easy. Personally, i would never call them mom & dad- those are my parents. My husband calls my parents by their first names too.

Sometimes Mom and Dad, and sometimes by their first names.
They like when I call them Mom and Dad and I would call them that...but my DH calls them by their first names so it is strange for me to call them Mom and Dad when he doesn't even do that!

I still call them Mr and Mrs XXXX. It feels too formal now, but I can't bring myself to call them Mom/Dad. And I just don't feel right calling them by their first names

Nothing and nothing... lol... no seriously I do not call them anything... if I would call on the phone (which I don't plan on doing so) no matter who picks up I would start with 'Hi it's Lauren', none of this Hi Mom or Dad... I have my own parents thank you!

i call mine by their first names and my DH calls my parents by their frist names.....but i always thought it would be 'Mom and Dad'. That's what my parents called my grandparents....weird! I dont care either way.

Mom and Dad, if I have to, but otherwise I try not to call them anything. My MIL always makes fun of me about this.

We live with them.... I try not to say anything, and try to talk to them directly... instead of saying 'Mrs. King what do you think?' I would just say 'What do you think?'
When I am talking about them to someone else I say Mr. and Mrs.

I call them by their first names. She insisted on me calling her mom .....but, I already have a mom and dad. Sorry!!
