We just got married 3 weeks ago, but looking back I would change 2 things: I would have added an extra hour onto the reception and I regret not going to the DJ earlier to tell him to play faster music.

I would have used the same photographer, but I wish I had brought the 'must-take' picture list I made.
I would add a few extras to the cocktail hour.
Would've planned to have food at the bonfire...people were getting hungry towards the end of it.
I wouldn't have messed up the seating list by doing the chart the night before I printed out an older version of the list....woops !
Other than that I'm happy with each & every decision we made ! ! Wish we could do it again.

I wish I would have. . . made a list for photographer - I didn't get a bunch of pictures been more firm with crest hollow so I could take pictures in other spots worn flats during my ceremony and had my dress altered to those flats so I didn't trip all over my dress when I finally put them on. Spent more time with my husband at my wedding and his family

Which Photographers did you have ?? That was my only complaint with them. They were the nicest people and took alot of shots but didn't get everything I wanted. I don't have a picture of my whole bridal party together - can you imagine ?? I never thought I had to tell them to do that !

Now that you mention it, I would have brought my 'must take' list with me too! I feel like there were so many shots that I forgot to remind him about.
I also would have allowed more time for pictures instead of rushing to get to CH.

I would have changed three things:
First, I would not have left my husband's side during the reception (and I made a mental note of it too that morning!).
Second, my photographer took us outside after the entree to take some photos of us. They were supposed to be romantic shots but we felt so stupid that we look ridiculous and stiff in practically each and every shot; maybe two or three came out all right. So I would have stayed inside and danced up a storm with everyone.
And finally, I would have really worked my tush off to lose five pounds before the wedding day. I look at the pictures and I see that my dress is just a smidgen too tight. My husband thinks I'm being an idiot, but I figured, between getting married, moving into our new apartment, and the busiest time of year at the office, those pesky pounds would have come right off. But alas, no.

Only thing is I wish I got the opportunity to work out more so I would be thinner. But after hearing compliments (and I know everyone feels compelled to tell you that you look beautiful regardless of if you do or not) it didn't seem like a big deal.

I wish I asked our photog to get some outdoor pics at night of just DH and I at our RH...the background of the bridge at night would have been gorgeous. It's so not his fault. I told him more than once that after the formal pics (taken before the ceremony) I want all pics to be candid.

I would have kept my nice shoes on for the garter removal ( i had already changed into my flip flops and they did not give me enough warning to put my nice shoes back on!) and i also would have kept my veil on for the entire reception. i took if off right after the first dance, but the pictures look so much nicer with the veil on!

I would have eaten at my cocktail hr- i hear it was amazing I think I would have worn my hair all down, I would have spent more time with DH and I definitely would have lost 5 lbs- All I do when I look at the pictures is get angry that I didnt.

I would have ignored my mother in law and not listened to her about anything and folloowed my instincts
I would have chosen a different rabbi and cantor. I trusted my MIL that the cantor she sings with is beautiful.....but when I watch and listen to the video, she sounds like a howling dog.
I would have relaxed during the ceremony. I was very tense and my DH was tense b/c I was so tense. I sort of feel like I ruined it for him b/c I was so nervous.
Everything else....the band, the food, the cake, the dancing, the man.....was perfect.

i would have changed pushing the wedding back a little just so we could of saved even more money then we did so i could of used all the vendors i REALLY wanted to use. see i rushed everything. DH wanted to wait till the end of 2007 and not me! so its my fault. i could of had everything i wanted if i didnt rush it. i was just so excited! and i loved the month of may and to be engaged for 2 years would of killed me lol and look what happened....... its rained on my wedding day!!!!!!! i should of waited!! any brides to be that read this ........... DONT RUSH!! take ur time and make sure you get everything you want for that day! u only have a wedding once! i wish i would of listened to myself
