what do you splurge on?
As a married couple, what do you splurge on? It's strange to me to have to be really responsible with money because I don't think I ever really was before being married. I know we should save our money, but what do normal married couples splurge on?At this point, I'm thinking we should save money for vacations and electronic gadgets.
what about you guys?

Re: what do you splurge on?
We eat sushi at least once a week!
Lately I have tried to cook every day and not waist money on take out. But sushi is sacret with us!
We try to go on vaction 2x every year, but I wouldn't call it splurges. People usually do go on vacation at least one a year unless they are really straped for cash. But sushi is a whole other story...

Re: what do you splurge on?
going out to dinner. I'm not a big fan of cooking and Dh gets home too late often, so we go out to dinner usually 2-3 times a week. That, and clothes! That is, for now at least. I think once we're closer to a house, clothes will seem a whole lot less important

Re: what do you splurge on?
Hmm, I'd say vacations but since we had to cancel ours this year because of $...Not sure, maybe dinners and food we splurge on. There isn't a whole lot, maybe because we are broke, there isn't a lot of splurgin' goin on!!!

Re: what do you splurge on?
We splurge on our F250. Since we can't buy a house until we are more settled in one state which won't be for another year. We splurged and bought a 03F250 last April. The truck is massive with a crew cab so it has four doors the back two open outward which offers so much room and then we have about a 6 1/2 bed.We have since bought the tent that we can fit in the bed of the truck and we take it camping, you can take your cars/ trucks out on the beach here in Texas so we do that all the time, we are putting cattle guards on it, and it has all the horns and whisles.
The truck should easily last till 200,000 miles so its our baby.

Re: what do you splurge on?
Vacations and when our house is finished, a big screen tv. I mentioned this to my DH on our honeymoon, and he was so schocked that I wanted to get one. He will never leave the TV's side!!!

Re: what do you splurge on?
We are on a really tight budget right now, but when we splurge it is usually on dinner out, or a night at the movies...We are so sad.

Re: what do you splurge on?
Food. I love to cook and we love to eat out... so either way we can't win! If we stay home and I cook, I'm always spending hundreds of dollars on all sorts of ingredients so I can experiment. I also bake a lot, and the price of chocolate adds up when you use it constantly!!
