Re: what do you splurge on?

I guess it depends on what you mean by splurge...for the last few months I have been getting a massage nearly every week and boy, does it help A LOT. Pre-pregnancy I would say shoes. I also getting a pedicure every few weeks, all year round.
We do not eat out much, mainly because of my gestational diabetes but pre-pregnancy we would go out to a 'regular' place once a week and a 'nice' place once a month or so.
We really splurged on our HM.

Re: what do you splurge on?

I'm bad...What were once 'splurges' are now 'habit'.

A lot of people consider manicures/pedicures, waxing, etc. splurges, but I consider them 'upkeep'.

vacations...even if its just going away for the weekend...

we would splurge on dinners out, but we are trying to watch our weight (DH can not eat sensible if we go out)...so I splurge at Whole Foods to make dinner

DH would love to splurge on a big TV...but I am trying to hold him back for a bit...since he splurges on computer stuff...

Re: what do you splurge on?

dinners. I dont know if it's really considered splurging. We work together, and work such late hours sometimes it's hard to fit a home cooked meal in there too.

My husband splurges on clothing, electronics, camera equipment and beauty products. Yes beauty products. The man has more lotions and scrubs than all of you put together.

I splurge on shoes. I admit it. Everything else I am super frugal.

Oh and wrapping paper at Christmas time - BAD with that....wrapping paper and bows...obsessed.
