My FIL coming over to me before we all entered the church and upon looking at me he said 'goia' - it made me cry.

What does that mean?

I think for me it was after it was all over & we got in the Town car that was taking us to the hotel-- it just all sunk & I was so happy to be married, so happy everything went well.

The one that stands out the most is the moment I stepped into the packed church and saw DH standing in the front waiting for me.

Looking back *now* it's that Hershey was there with us.

awwwwwwww

my favorite moment was right before i was about to walk down the aisle. a bunch of dh's friends had arrived late and were waiting for me to walk before they took their seats. one of his friends looked at me, and th elook in his eyes made it all real and i started to cry.
he, of course, felt terrible that he made me cry and still apologizes. he never understands that it was a happy moment!

First, I had wanted pics of my MOH helping me in to my dress, but I was done with hair and makeup before she was and the photographer had already arrived, and wanted to do some shots of me alone. So my mom and I went into the spare bedroom and closed the door and she helped me get dressed. When she zipped me up, it just hit me, I said 'Mommy, you just zipped up my wedding dress' and we cried and she kissed me. It's special because it wasn't supposed to happen that way, but it was one of my favorite memories.

That's beautiful

for me....and probably ONLY for me

My happiest moment was waking up next to the man I love and realizing it was the last time we would wake up together as 2 seperate people.

It was quiet in the bedroom we slept in and we just took a moment to say how much we loved each other, to remember how we started out 7 years earlier and to really confirm how much we wanted to be married.

For me, it was when my dad was walking me down the aisle and I first looked at Anthony up at the alter. Seeing the look of pure love in his eyes melted my nervousness away. I remember looking at no one else, just him.

Having my big brother walk me down the aisle with the warmth and love my father would have and presenting me to the man who will take care of me for the rest of my life and having my mother there to witness it all. Nothing could top that. That's all the happiness I needed.

It's really hard to pick one moment...but I think it's when we finally kissed for the first time as husband and wife...that moment was a LONG time in coming! :)

I say when his mom had tears welcoming me as her daughter..just as touching as being pronounced a wife :)

Right before I was escorted outside, I saw him standing at the gazebo looking so handsome.
All morning I had been fairly calm, not emotional at all. Then when I saw him through the trees, it was like seeing him for the very first time. I couldn't stop crying...I kept saying how handsome he looked!!
It was great since our second video guy caught it on tape and we had him add it in to our video.

I don't know if it is the 'happiest' moment but I will always remember that we were in our bridal suite and there was a door that everyone coming in to the reception could see us. My dh made me sit in 'the corner' part of the room while we were eating so no one could see me yet-lol!
It made me feel so good that he was so proud of me and that he wanted it to be special for everything to see me 'walk in' with him!!

The ring exchange and the kiss.

Our priest/church refused to say 'you may now kiss the bride'.
To my surprise during the 1/2 hour he had to wait for me (I was late) he convinced the priest to say it.

So at the end the priest sad it and he grabbed me kissed me and dipped me. It was like a movie.
