The happiest memory for me is after we were pronounced husband & wife and the quartet we'd gotten for the ceremony played the instrumental for 'Clocks' - it was such a perfect moment

There are quite a few great moments like our first kiss as husband and wife and the procession down the isle afterward. But what sticks out the most is when at the reception 'melt with you' by modern english was played. My hubby came over to dance with me and we had such a great time dancing. This was a big deal because my husband doesn't dance. It was great!

When we said our vows, that was when it became real. Seeing my DH wipe tears from his eyes was so touching. I almost lost it but I kep my composure.

The whole day was magical.

I have a couple - when DH read his vows (we wrote our own), when we first kissed as husband and wife and when we were about to jump the broom. Oh and our first dance since it felt like we were totally alone for those 3 - 4 minutes

The moment I began walking down the aisle and my DH and I locked eyes, the moment took my breathe away

I think it must be when I stepped onto that altar. I was a mess walking down the aisle but as soon as I got onto the altar, it was like I was on stage and ready to go. I didn't 'think' while on the altar, I just 'felt'....great moment!

The first time I locked eyes with my DH! I was so calm the entire day & even coming down the aisle! Once my dad placed my hand in his, I knew this is what we had planned for! I just melted!!!

happiest moment, being introduced to the reception. I also loved our limo ride just us in the rolls afterwards. It felt so surreal!!

Just one. . . I would have to say the entire ceremony from walking in to the kiss at the end. It really was like no one else was there. I don't remember who was at the Church or any of the music played, from the second they opened the Church doors. It was really cool, and I think the ceremony is the one thing I truly remember from that day

For me it was definitely seeing DH for the first time! Our photographer set him up at Old Westbury Gardens and as I came around the mansion they turned him around and he broke down!! We both did. What a feeling!

It's hard to pick just one.....despite all of the BS I dealt with that day, I was genuinely happy to be marrying the man of my life.

But the 1st was walking down the aisle, hearing the sniffles of tears from our guests, feeling my father beaming, and seeing DH with the biggest grin on his face.

The next was my ILs tearfully welcoming me into the family. That was the closest I came to tears all day other than walking down the aisle.

The last was us being announced as husband and wife. Because at that point for some reason it felt really official, like we finally had done it.

The entire day was filled with amazing happy moments but I think the best was as my father was walking me down and we got close enough and DH and I made eye contact for the first time. I got all choked up and I was just so happy that it was finally our wedding day and we were about to be married.

The 2nd happiest was when the florist delivered the flowers and there was a dozen roses and a beautiful card from DH telling me how he couldn;t wait for me to be his wife. I had no idea he was going to do that.

Re: What is the ONE single happiest memory you have from your wedding day?

There are so many special memories. But the one I keep going back to happened toward the end of the evening. DH and I were on the dance floor, and the DJ played one of our favorite songs. We started slow dancing and singing the words to eachother. No one else was on the dance floor, and it was just the two of us. We were in our own world, our own happiness.

After a day of exciting and meaningful events, we ended the day with a special moment between just the two of us. It was our song, one that 99% of our guests never heard before, and it meant so much to us. I wasn't our wedding song, but it was still our song.
