What is the one thing that you regret about your wedding?
It could be a vendor, guests, your dress, BM dresses, whatever.
I have to say that one thing I regret is shelling out a lot of $$ for a photographer...I wish I went a more inexpensive way...I could have shopped around and found a good photographer for a lot less $$, but I was so hooked on the good reviews that they got here and since they were so popular, I wanted to use them as well...I havent received my proofs yet but I doubt they'll be worth that amount of $$ that we paid for them.
ETA: After receiving my proofs I can say that they are absolutely amazing, however, that still doesn't change my mind about regretting shelling so much $$ on photography. Have I done a little more reserach, Im sure I would find a photographer that would do a wonderful job.

I'm the opposite - I would have gone with a completely different photo and just paid the extra money, so I got the shots I wanted and asked for!
And two - I would have chosen my wedding party later on in the wedding planning b/c it would have been completely different from what it was and it would have saved me SO MUCH aggravation!

I over bought on the alcoholic beverages, and was unable to return the unused bottles.
But, on the bright side - I have a seriously stocked bar at home now.

I also would have enlisted a lot more help from family members the day of the wedding. My DH and I ended up taking care of a lot of details the night of our wedding between bad DJ, tips and maitre'd issues and felt like we missed the end of our wedding.
Otherwise, I would have kept everything else the same. It was a great ceremony, party, and great DH. A girl couldn't really ask for more than that.

on a seperate note, I just received my proofs from Duet and just from the quick glances, they came out great, so hopefully yours will be the same.

I have few....(not only one)...
I feel the same way about the photographer....for the money I spend I could have had someone much better and cheaper (not that happy with my proofs)......hoping the video will prove me wrong...
Also, I regret not playing enough party music..my wedding was way too much traditional (90% of time live band playing) too much traditional Greek dancing....

The pathetic DJ we chose.
Having a DOC - waste of money for us.
That I didn't speak up about my dress alterations being wrong...uncomfortable, etc.

i'm experiencing a SICK happiness at knowing that i'm not the only bride who feels this way.
this is what i regret: NOT being a bridezilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had i pushed for what i wanted, instead of thinking of others, i would at least have had MY wedding.
i tried to be considerate, no one cared and i didn't get what i wanted. had i been a b!tch, people might be upset, but at lease i would have had my day.
also... i would not have jr bridesmaids...oh, the agony!!!!

My only regret is that I wish I remembered to take the large family photo. DH and I took all of our formal photos before the ceremony and we did not want everyone to see me in my dress, so we wanted to take a large informal family photo on the dance floor while everyone was eating dinner. My DOC was supposed to coordinate this, but it never happened...

I loved everything, but the DJ. He made some key mistakes...like cutting DH and his mother's dance short AND inviting everyone to join them on the floor IMMEDIATELY! Luckily, MIL was very understanding and not hurt at all.

I didnt do a formal video - I hate weddings that have the camera ona rolling tripod with bright lights in peoples faces while they are dancing - but I regret not having video of the reception - I had someone tape the ceremony though so at least I have that
I would have not picked one of the bridesmaids I had - there was another friend that was so much more genuinely happy for me than the old college friend that i picked. I should have gone with my gut
Last thing was my photog was GREAT but I didnt make a list of imp pamily/friends to take pics with - so while he got the immed family - I didnt get my fav aunt/uncle or godparents -- just didint think that i wouldnt think of it
otherwise loved the day!

Honestly, I don't regret anything. I loved all my vendors, and the day was perfect. Maybe I would have bustled my dress earlier, but who cares about that?

My day was wonderful, but there is one thing that I do regret. I would've splurged on a better photographer, we're a lil upset about our proofs and I wish we'd shopped around a lil more.
We were mainly concerned about the food and the music which ended up being phenomenal so I can't regret those choices!! The reason we didn't splurge on a photographer in the 1st place is bc of the $$, but looking back I know we could've found a way.
I try to focus on what's important here, it doesn't matter whether or not we have beautiful pictures as long as we have a beautiful marriage!!

I have a few...my wedding was still the best day ever, but things I would differently now that I have been there...
1. given photographer a DETAILED list of photographs I wanted...and I would have made sure he took them...
2. I said no to pictures of each table, I wish I would not have done that
3. I would have made my 'odd' request to the band a bigger deal -they were fabulous, dont get me wrong, but something got messed up because I guess I was not clear enough
4. I would have NEVER IN A MILLION years have gone to Andrienne's Bridal Salon for my gown! hey were just awful! (see review)
5. I would have had the band play my parents wedding song ...
6. I would have danced a dance with my mom-not necessarily a spotlight dance, but a slow dance-I meant to and just never got to...
7. I would have eaten more. I ate, but not nearly enough...and I would have asked for food to be wrapped up for the people who didnt show up
8. I would have included one of my friends in the BP that I didnt

choosing my BMs....you really find out who your friends are during this time. It all worked out fine in the end though.

The only thing I regret was not saying EFF my church and just thrown the rose petals...no one ever formally said it couldn't be done but I kind of knew they didn't want it... I didn't want to get in trouble...after the $hit they put us through I should have done it...that was the one pic I wanted and bubbles just didn't cut it..oh well.
we had a perfect day though

Sylvia, I feel the same way about my photographer. I wish I hadn't let some selfish, selfish person truly irritate the crap out of me right before the ceremony.
