Since I am at work I figured let's talk about our dream jobs- you know the ones you always wished you could have or think you would be great at but never got a chance to do. I have a few. I was a theatre major in College so, of course, performing is my dream but I would not like the rejection based life style. But if I could pick and chose my roles then that would be great I would also really like to develop story lines for shows like Dawson's Creek. I love my teen angst shows and they need my help, if you have seen any recent Dawson's you would probably agree

Shamma... you're funny!! Same 'horrified' reaction from everyone I tell!! I love my job! It is so many different things though!! I embalm (only occasionally now, we have people who do that at our place!), I used to do hair & makeup all the time, but again ladies who do that where I work now, I make arrangements with people & direct funerals (go to church & the cemetery). I get to drive the hearse, reaarange flowers, be a therapist for bickering families, wake up in the middle of the night 1 day each week when I am on call!! I guess you can say I wear many hats in my job!!

Re: What is your 'dream' job?
My dream job would be 'full-time stay at home mom' with 2 or 3 kids.

Re: What is your 'dream' job?
well I have a few....
1) do something scrapbook related. Not sure of the store idea but maybe have a show on TV like Carol Duval.
2) something in woodworking, maybe a carpenter, making beautiful furniture.
3) but my ultimate dream 'job' would be to have no job at all...stay home and be able to create my cards and invitations all day!!
Hmmm... I guess I had better win the lottery to fulfill the last one!
ValR...Very interesting job you have. I had a friend from High School that all she ever talk ed about was becoming a funeral director. Im not sure if she ever did...but not too many people want to be in that field!

Val thanks for explaining, you know once I heard what you did, all I envisioned in my head was you doing everything after the coroner was done. I have been enlightened

Re: What is your 'dream' job?
Yes, I have been running track since I could remember how to run. I did it only b/c I could not b/c I had an extreme love of the sport. I lost interest in college

Re: What is your 'dream' job?
My dream job is to become a nurse. I work in healthcare now but would love to be more hands on. I applied a few weeks ago for a nursing program. Now I keep my fingers crossed and hope I get in. I should have followed my dream. I have for years wanted to be a nurse but, went to school for something else instead.
