See, why can't people I know understand like the people you know? We tell them not for a couple years but for some reason anytime I feel sick or I'm excited or anything people are always saying 'YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!!???!!!!' I'm getting REALLY tired of telling people no. It's mostly DH's family who has a bet on who will get prego first, me or SIL. I finally told my MIL and DH's aunt that we stopped having s*x because we don't want to get pregnant. To which my MIL said 'you aren't taking care of my son?'

some people just CAN'T let it go! it's like, enough is enough already! 'you can all shove your bets you know where because it's NOT happening yet!'

both really annoy me.

i say married life is just like before, since we lived together, but now i get health insurance so its all good!

but i have to say the preggo might be more annoying..... everyone expects me to knocked up, umm hello we dont want kids yet, so leave us alone, and then ask me why we dont want now and wanna wait.

JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

At least inquiring as to when we're having kids means they want to know if I'm adding a human to the world.

'Are you pregnant yet' kills meee because we aren't anywhere near TTC, yet no one understands that. My FIL has baby fever worse than anyone - on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, he gave a speech before both dinners and said he hoped that next year, he would have a grandchild sitting at the table.

It kills me bc I know we're breaking his heart - I love my FIL so much, but we have more reasons to NOT ttc right now than we have to actually ttc.

I don't get the pregnant question all that much...but I do get 'How's married life' and my answer is always 'The same as engaged life except without the stress of wedding planning'

How's married life?

Because every time someone asks..before I can answer half the time they say 'the same right?'

Or when I kinda shrug and say 'pretty much the same' they just nod in agreement like they were expecting that answer anyway. Why ask then?

I need to come up with a creative answer to shut people up.

I definitely don't get the pregnant question because most people say to me that I shouldn't get pregnant when I am first married anyways....so I'm set there.

And I actually don't mind 'How's married life.' I like saying that married life is more fun than wedding planning life!
