i feel like as women, we are REALLY sensitive about different types of aspects in our lives... so that leads me to this question:
what question do you find offensive coming from a stranger/someone you dont know well?
for example, i know A LOT of women get offended if you ask them their age

#1 most annoying comment 'Is your hair a perm'....who gets perms these days! Come one...have these people never heard of naturally curly hair. I mean its cute when old people say it.
Also when I do my hair straight people are baffled and say 'how did it get like that' 'is is permanent' I dont know if they are dumb or what??!?!
Also people at work always ask what I am eating...and they make comments about my healthy food. ANNOYING! Sorr-ry that I eat healthy! (Meanwhile I sneak chocolate like all the time!)

I dont get offended very easily. I usually feel sorry for the person who asks rude questions b/c they obviously werent taught any better.
I just don't answer any questions about money, religion or 'when are you guys having a kid'

OK it's not 'people'...it's one secretary in my office!!
I could be having a self proclaimed 'pretty day' and she'll make me feel like poo!!

I love....when the parents of my students ask ' so hows married life?....is life different now for you? and then 'oh i guess having kids is next' Then they explain that they have a younger daugther/son were trying to figure out when you are going to get pregnant b/c they don't want thier kid having a sub for a long time. the nerve

also at the beginning of the year my last name obviously changed. many of the parents didn't know what my last name was going to be. so they came during open house with the kids and looked at me and said 'wait a minute you aren't a new teacher we were so confused when we heard we were having mrs. Chang....we expected a chinese teacher.....well we are ok now that we realize its just you, did you marry someone chinese?' and the kids follow up with 'haha your name is chang but you aren't really chinese'!!!!!!! i've had just about enough of that!

I thought of another one...
I look young for my age which is a good thing as i get older, but not so much when i was younger.
When i was about 22 someone my mom knew asked me what hs i was in. So when i said i was 22 in an obviously pissy tone, she says, oh, i thought you were like 15 or 16.
I looked at least 18. But when I answered u pissy that should have been a clue to stop there.
When i was in college and told someone i went to St johns, they thought i meant high school, not university lol. At least they did the 'oohh (i feel like an arse now)' thing and left it at that. haha
I get it now too, but when i tell them my age and they think im 24, thats cool w/ me lol

my boss is obsessed with money. his wife keeps him on a strict budget, and he incessantly asks people questions about money. I have gotten really annoyed with: how much did you pay for that watch? how much is your mattrress thats getting delivered? how much was your dog? how much is your car payment? i tell him to mind his own business. then after he asks these questions, he passes comments on how i 'must have wasted my money'

this is another one.. I used to hate when people said that to me 'why dont you smile' Ummm why dont you shut up and bother someone else
its so annoying bc for all they know somebody can be currently going through something horrible. What if they have a sick family member in the hospital or they just got real bad news. I hate these type of ppl
OMG YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot tell you how many times i'll be like standing in line at a store to buy something and someone says 'hey why do you look so sad - SMILE'.... i usually just give them a nasty stare and look away

its not so much of a question, but a statement.
since I lost some weight, people feel the need to drill it into me not to go back to being a piggy fatty fat!!! W T F?? they say things like 'oh, well you know you have to keep up with it' NO SHIIT SHERLOCK!! Like they dont have any faith in me to keep it off and lose more.
And these arent skinny people either.
I know exactly what you mean.. and they give examples of people they know.. not them!! They have no idea!!!

wow... what kinda question is THAT? Crazy rude people...
I have another one - a few years ago i left a job because I got offered a much better one. On my last day, the old boss (who i did not like at all) asked me if I was receiving the same pay. Ewww. That made me really uncomfortable.

ppl at work do that to me too!!!!! i hate it!!!! 'oh you eat that weird food they say' no i just don't want to eat fast food like you everyday.....greek yogurt is not weird food....hummus is not weird.....and my leftover dinner is delicious not weird...
