what questions offend you?

i feel like as women, we are REALLY sensitive about different types of aspects in our lives... so that leads me to this question:

what question do you find offensive coming from a stranger/someone you dont know well?

for example, i know A LOT of women get offended if you ask them their age

I dont mind the when are you having kids question bc I guess it is just making conversation. BUT I hate the follow up questions and statements:
Why Not?
Are you going to wait long?
You should have them now, while you are young.
If you wait for the perfect time it will never happen

its not so much of a question, but a statement.

since I lost some weight, people feel the need to drill it into me not to go back to being a piggy fatty fat!!! W T F?? they say things like 'oh, well you know you have to keep up with it' NO SHIIT SHERLOCK!! Like they dont have any faith in me to keep it off and lose more.

And these arent skinny people either.

This may sound weird, but I HATE personal questions about me and DH. Like, I get really upset when strangers ask 'How did you two meet?' Arrggg. You don't even know me, why do you care? Usually either he or I will just make up something stupid that can be summed up in just a couple of words. (Our REAL history is very complicated and only my family knows the whole story).

along the lines of how much a despise personal questions about me & DH, I also don't like it when strangers ask what either of us do for a living. I just feel like it's none of their business and I hate making 'small talk' with people who obviously don't REALLY care. Such a waste of time. Plus I don't even know exactly what DH does. lol. He's explained it to me a million times, and i'm still like 'derrrr' hahaha

i guess ppl cant leave it as that and have to find something negative to go along with it. Which brings up another annoying thing, why do ppl like stating the obvious and telling ppl things that are common sense and you dont need to hear from others. For me i hear 'cigs are real bad for your health' NO SH*T A**HOLE lol, i can see why you get so mad bc it would piss me off too, i hate it bc i feel like the person thinks im the biggest idiot and dont know and they just have to inform me. Or like in your case, oh wow glad they told you that if you dont keep with it you wont continue to see results and can gain weight back, arent you glad they told you that or else you wouldnt have known

my mom has a habit of stating the obvious, and i have to say this is one thing that annoys me most about ppl lol. I always roll my eyes and say a smart a** response

I hear ya!! And because I lost weight, people question if I EAT AT ALL. Ummm, yeah, I'm not anorexic idiot! I hate that. My old boss used to drill me on what i ate for lunch each day and would give me this disapproving look like she did not believe me. And then when I got dizzy at my wedding ,everybody just ASSUMED it was because I didn't eat. Um no, I wasn't hungry, I was dehydrated. I just needed water, and then I was fine.

That's another thing actually!! At my wedding, I got all dizzy at the end of the ceremony and needed to sit for a couple seconds. (I was blacking out and shaking because i was dehydrated). Afterwards EVERY SINGLE PERSON had to ask me what happened. Do i look like I have time to explain the deal to each and every one of you?? Why couldn't people realize that since it's my wedding day and I'm busy, ask my MOH or my mom, or even just ask EACH OTHER since I obviously already explained it to everyone in line greeting me before you. That was REALLY annoying. And then I STILL had to answer questions at the reception. Grrr.. that was really annoying.

the worst part is that complete strangers tell me this all the time when im walking down the street. I end up cursing them out bc its so annoying. Or i hate when men say 'why dont you smile' as im walking down the street by myself. I think i would look kinda crazy if i were walking alone and just smiling.

If somebody lets say is planning a wedding and is looking for a photographer, RH, DJ or whatever the case might be and is looking for recommendations but wants to know the price first then that is perfectly fine, but if not and lets say the person is single, already married or not engaged then i think its rude to ask. Not just with a wedding but anything in particular, unless you need the info for yourself then its rude

ITA when someone asks b/c they are planning a wedding or some other sort of thing or they are asking for a real reason, like what to give as a gift or how much something would cost for them I dont mind sharing my info or helping out. But when its someone just being plan nosey and rude it really aggrivates me. It find it to be very uncomfortable and really obnoxious

its so annoying bc for all they know somebody can be currently going through something horrible. What if they have a sick family member in the hospital or they just got real bad news. I hate these type of ppl
