stef - I thought Brits drank their tea loose, and not in bags? I thought bags were considered the 'tacky American' way to drink tea! That's at least how it's done in Singapore...DH went on a tea seminar while there!

Not sure what is proper. But when I was in London (and other British influence areas) there were always bags available.
In any case, Luke likes the bags.

Stef, why don't you make him a homemade card with something really nice and heartfelt written in it? My DH did this for me once - I mean he had the construction paper, stickers, fabric thing all going on! It is a beautiful keepsake that I have framed in a shadow box. Or how about a small scrap book, 10 or so pages in one of those little journals or sketchbooks. You can come up with some theme - like one page for every year you've been together or something like that, and decorate each page simply with a picture or two, some memories, a memento you have saved.

Thanks Jan... I took him out on a semi private yacht for his birthday so thats out. He would not appreciate the star. He has a remote start on his car. He would never use anything from Tiffany b/c its 'too nice' and he has new sunglasses. All good ideas but he is a pain
Thanks jlf but that is something that I would appreciate, not him. If only he liked that sort of thing my life would be way easier.

Since he likes tea....my husband bought me a beverage warmer from Brookstone to keep my tea/hot chocolate warm while at work. Would he use that?
You mentioned that he had lots of pictures of planes and stuff like that. I got my DH a plane clock made by fossil for christmas for his office. They have trucks, motorcycles, taxi etc.
My husband hasevery possible piece of plane paraphanalia so he doesnt need that. He doesnt want a tea warmer bc he drinks it up :D
I just need to get some of this tea. I was thinking of maybe surprising him with a trip to London to get it. But it all depends on his schedule, etc.. Not cheap like the original plan but I know he wants to go..he is always suggesting but since ive been there a few times, i always say someplace else. We'll see i guess.
