What was The first catering hall you looked at & was it the last?

1st Was a bridal show at Smithtown Landing
Last was I think the Riviera

Our first one we looked at was Leonard's. The last one was Watermill (the second time). We fell in love with the Watermill. It was exactly what we were looking for.

I only looked at two halls - Marina del Rey in the Bronx first and Russo's on the Bay second. We went with Russo's and couldn't have been happier with the service we received on our wedding day

The very first was the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ. OMG is was gorgeous but waaaaay out of our price range.

The last was The Colonial in NJ. We onyl looked at that one because the ILs didnt want us to get married on LI so they were trying to convince us not to book CLM.

last Lombardis on the Sound before we went and booked CBC on the spot

First: Giorgios ( I know people love this place and it is stunning but we were not fond of Giorgio Sr.
Last: Land's End

PLace we got married: Vineyard Caterers (we knew it when we walked in)

Last - Carlyle on the Green

First- a chateau outside Paris

We looked at 3...

First was Westbury Manor.
Second was Chateau La Mer.
Last was Jericho Terrace.

We looked at Jericho Terrace while waiting for the CLM food tasting... then the night of the tasting we booked CLM.

We looked at Westbury Manor, then Marina del Ray, and then Watermill. Loved Watermill and Im so happy we had our wedding there!

I honestly don't remember the first place we looked at but it was in Westchester.

Oheka Castle was the last place we had looked at and that is where we had the wedding.

I looked at about 20-25 places in total though!

We ended up booking one of the middle halls.

First: Penthouse on 14th street
I was sooo excited about it; I was convinced that this was where I wanted my wedding but when I got up there I thought it was VERY UNDERWHELMING.
I also looked at Loft 11, and was SO DISAPPOINTED....IT WAS AWFUL.

Before going to the place I chose I was worried that it would be stuffy.....I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was. (3 west club)

I'ms so glad we had our wedding at JT. It was all i ever wanted and more...
