We got a gift certificate to a B&B in New Hampshire I think it was. We went there a few weeks before the wedding to get away frm the craziness and relax and breathe in the fresh air!! It was WONDERFUL!

We only got a few engagement gifts: one was a triple frame (for 3 pics), one was a wedding planner, and one was a gift card to Macy's.

I have to take a pic, my GF got us this statue, like 7' mod man huggin a woman. Their arms create a heart and it has an Irih Blessing on it. I think it might be a bell too. But I love it.

we didn't get much in the way of gifts, it was mostly checks, but one of my BM's got me this book from hallmark, its about $50 i think.. ad its like an already made scrap book, but its leather bound, and you just add the pocs, and it goes from the e-party, through the shower to the big day. Its freakin awesome!!!

We received a set of candlestick holders from Tiffanys. I love them and DH was actually excited by them too. He wanted a picture of him opening the blue box (he will so kill me for writing that haha).

We got a Navajo wedding vase (pottery) from my best friend and her DH. He is from New Mexico and they were there visiting his family when I got engaged. Of course I called her immediately! so they bought the vase there.
It's a similar idea to the sand ceremony - 2 becoming one. Traditionally it was used to drink wine but now it's more symbolic. We love it. It looks kinda like this:

I received a beautiful Tiffany bowl from my boss. My other boss got us 5 large feather trees for the wedding ($250 each) because I had a feather theme. The MOH paid for my gown

My in-laws gave us a beautiful lenox vase for our engagement party, and they gave me a nice bouquet of fresh flowers to put in it to display on the gift table during the party. I thought it was sweet of them.
We also got toasting flutes and an engraved holder for our wedding certificate from Things Remembered.
