What was your favorite wishing well gift?

I'm trying to come up with an somewhat unique idea for a shower this saturday.

I tihnk my favorite was those little corn on the cob holders. We actually use them a lot, but I didn't knoq if other people would.

Any suggestions?

OK, so what would you have liked to get? Or did you ever really give a kick-@ss gift, you like to share with me?

I got about 8 boxes of Ziploc bags--my cousin asked if that was some sort of ongoing joke with my college friends. IT wasn't. The box of stove top. . .now that made sense!

I've done the Ziplocs or garbage bags (but tons of other stuff too).

My mom put Spaghettios in the WW of one of my friends who in college, we pretty much ate nothing but them made in our hot pots!!!

I love buying for the wishing well and have been known to get carried away and end up spending almost as much as I did on the main gift!!

I can see how a wishing well gift could turn into a Target shopping spree!

Hot pots! I used to eat Healthy Choice chicken corn chowder or Chef Boyardee mini beef raviolis in mine. The Stove Top was from my after college roomate, b/c we used to eat that all the time.
This girl is more the FW of DH's friend, but are friendly from being in the same circle of friends even before they were dating, but I don't know little quirky things like that.

I got boxes of Thank You cards in mine and thought it was the best idea! I used them to write my thank you's for the shower. One less thing I had to go out and buy.

ooh, that's not a bad idea. I was goign to pass on my Bride's Thank You Writing Guide to her, so maybe I'll wrap it up with some thank you cards.

we had a honeymoon theme so my favorite was a great big beach bag and these huge soft and fluffy beach towels!

we also got lots of travel items (toobrushes, toothpaste everything mini), waterproof cameras and lots of lotion!

was such a lifesaver....

I didn't have one but I know one gift I have given that went over really well ... if you know the address where the bride and groom will be living after the wedding.. I ordered new address labels with the Mr. & Mrs. on it.
Inexpensive and something that they will def. use!

I like the three rubber spatulas I received...and since I'm such a novice in the kitchen, I've used them all trying to make 1 dish.

A $25 Gift Card to Stop & Shop! Or any Supermarket near the Bride.

It was the best! The 1st couple of rounds of shopping are expensive getting all the essentials like spices, toliet paper and such.

I love it and thought it was so useful.

I know its funny, but those Mr.Clean things called the magic eraser. I could not believe how easily and awesome they were. They took things off my wall I couldnt get off with anything else and with just a wipe!! Shocking LOL But true - It was the one I liked the most.
