What's the best time of year to go to England/Paris?
Has anyone gone to both England and Paris in the same trip? It's on our to do before baby list and I would like to start planning at least a little to get this checked off our list.

depends on your definition of 'best'
but the cheapest time is in from October through Feb, from what I understand ...

I went at the end of June... weather wise it was gorgeous... and the gardens are all in bloom so it was beautiful!
Though cost wise, that is when Airfare starts to get expensive.

we just went to london and paris 2 weeks ago. the pricing is definitely better in the off season. our hotel in london was really nice and so reasonably priced (included breakfast every morning too). we took the train to paris just for a day and it's definitely doable. they have a lot of train times to choose from so you can plan out your stay or even stay overnight. let me know if you want anymore info!
i did a winter session in london during my college years, so i was there for about 3 weeks and got to know the city pretty well.

I did London and Paris in the same trip - it is SO easy to get between these two spots!
I went when I was in college thought. It was my first (and only!) christmas away from home....I went for 1.5 weeks before I studied abroad in seville, spain....
It was obvi really cold and touristy so I actually wouldn't recommend going during holiday time. although it was, of course, really beautiful with all of the christmas decor out!

I dunno, but I'm going in July! Well to London and Ireland, not Paris.

We would only be able to go during one of the long breaks from school. And spring break isn't an option due to DH's baseball team. I don't know how cold it gets there in the winter...say over December break or February break.
I'm thinking summer would be the best to go but probably the most expensive
