What's the strangest gift you received?

Just trying to get some conversation going on this board...

What's the strangest thing that you got for your wedding or shower?

One of DH's friends got us a hammock and a 7ft light up palm tree! We're having a hawaiian themed party just so we can say that we used the tree once.

The strangest gift I received were Unity Candles. Little too late for those.

We received Lenox bunny rabbit candle sticks... I have NO idea when we'd use something like that.

But it was from my sweet aunt who is delicious so I wont mock them.


Maybe she saw them on clearance from last easter and thought they were cute

I got a pack of those Tide marker stain removers in my wishing well...the only problem with that was that the package was open and one marker was missing

What's even Stranger is that something was Brought off our Reg. & we never got the gift.

I kinda think I know who it is but it is kinda of awkward to ask them. I still don't know what to do.


same thing happened to us...one of my comforters was bought from my registry but I never got it

Seriously girls, I would call the store where you are registered. My daughter received a gift that she had registered for at BB&B, and in the bottom of the box was a card signed by someone we never heard of. Mixed in with the packing stuff we found the crumpled packing slip, the gift was intended for a bride in California!

Someone may have received your gift by mistake and decided to just keep it. I would call the store and tell them it's off your reg. but you never received it, maybe they can track it! Good luck!

WITH two different things- a garbage can and salt and pepper shakers!

we got some random really ugly nad by really ugly i mean REEEEALLY ugly vases---htye are plastic nad have some random butterflies drawn on themand the person who gave it to us was all 'they are very rare---they are made of porcelin, etc...' they are SOOO blatantly plastic it's insane---and this was the gift they brought to the reception---as our wedding gift----ugh ahahhahahahaha

o and someone gifted us a hand mixer at the reception and was all 'i just knew this gift would be perfect for you guys'
