When and where did DH tell you he loved you for the first time?

Ok, getting sentimental again.....
We were dating for 2 months, we were both working (we worked at the same catering hall). He was cooking, I was waitressing, and he handed me a dinner order sheet that said he had to tell me something later.....I had no idea what it was about, and the only time I would see him was if I had to go in the kitchen to get a course. So he drops me off at home later that night at my dads. I was all sweatty in a full tux (uniform) and did a dramatic drop to the floor from exhaustion (joking around). He sat down next to me and said 'I have to tell you now'. I thought he was gonna tell me he was with someone else or something, so my heart was pounding. So he leaned up next to me, pulled my face towards him and said 'I Love You'. I almost died, and of course said it right back...THE REST IS HISTORY!!

It was at my house, on my couch and we were only dating for about a month!
I wasn't ready to say it back, although I felt it, I was afraid to say it. I'll never forget when I DID tell him (only about a week later) I had my hand on his cheek and I FELT the biggest smile on his face. It was sweet

We were friends before we were dating and he told me on our first date! It was soooo sweet because he was totally embarrassed.

well mine was said indirectly the first time... it was something like, 'you know those three words... well.. that's how i feel about you!' we were at a bar in bayridge with some friends and had just had a huge argument that day. i wasn't going to meet him that night. we had been seeing each other, but not exclusively, for a year before we got serious.... and it started to bother him that i was still seeing other people... as i was too (but didn't want to admit it). i wasn't going to meet him out that night, but decided last minute that i needed to. he had told me, 'if the last year means anything to you at all, please meet me tonight.' and after that night, we decided to be exclusive. imagine i never went? i didn't think that is how he felt about me! to think... we were annoyed with each other for a few months prior and didn't have the pride to just say how we didn't want each other to see anyone else! and about a week later at my apartment is when he finally could spit out the REAL words!

VERY drunk the second time we met!
He was going home to Ireland for Christmas for 2 months & asked me to wait for him!

It happened 3 months of dating. It was December and we were sitting in the car in the movie theater parking lot and there was an Alanis Morrisette song on and he told me how much he loved me.

About a month after dating, we had just come home from a club and were sitting in his car and he had this look on his face and said I have to tell you something and I'm like great he is going to tell me its over or whatever and I was like what, he looked me straight in the eyes and said I love you Stacey....of course I had already come to the conclusion that I loved him right away so I was able to tell him back

We were friends for a year before we got together so we said it alot in a friendship sort of way. but when we got together as a couple he said it on our first date down by the pier in the city.

We were dating for about 2 months and he did it on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

I think we were dating around 6 months. We went out to a nice dinner in port washington and when he dropped me off at home and we were saying good night...he said it.

He said it in the hospital. It was Christmas and we were dating for about a year. We got into a car accident on the way to our friends house. We were brought to Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre by ambulance. When we got to the emergency room and we were laying on gurneys ... he held my hand and said ' I love you!' I remember like it was yersterday and that was 1996!

I will never let DH live down the day that he said it...

it was after 10 MONTHS!!! We were in Levitz b/c he needed a new coach...but he didn't have a credit card...so I told him that he could put it on mine and then write a check out to my CC company...well the salesperson made a comment about what a nice situation he was in and DH said 'Yeah she's good for now' - he says he was joking around with the salesperson...but I wanted to rip his head off...

so to make up for the mess he made he had to profess his love to me...

We were only 15 at our own houses and we haven't even met yet. We didn't live that close to each other and our parents wouldn't drive us to see each other, so we'd spend at least 6 hours a day on the phone with each other. We talked on the phone for almost 3 months before meeting each other. One night we said there was something we wanted to tell each other, so we both said it at the same time! We've been inseparable ever since. We've never broken up... and we just had our 10 year anniversary/1 year wedding anniversary on August 31, and we're also expecting our first baby!

We were dating about 5 months and it was a couple days before his birthday. He had band practice that night at a friend's house and so I was with him. After practice we were out by his car and he was just hugging me and we were saying things to each other like 'You know that I think you're incredible' and 'You know that I'll never hurt you' etc. . . then he said to me 'You know that I think I'm falling in love with you?' and I said it right back to him. I was so happy! That was in 1995.

On Valentine's Day! We were dating all of 23 days.

He actually *almost* said it on the phone several days before, but caught himself. I guess he thought it was too soon.
