I'm researching places to stay, DH and I have both been there a few times but only once together in a group. we want to go see a few shows go out to dinner and just have some fun. i stayed at luxlor and didn't like it, ive stayed at the tropicana and it was ok but i heard they re did it!
i cant get 5 days in the tropicana for a just about 500 for 5 days, can anyone suggest another place to stay?

Just got back a few weeks ago and stayed at Mandalay Bay...liked it a lot, and I'm sure if the pools are open it's even better...
You can try looking on jetblue.com too for travel deals...I never had before, but we ended up paying 500 per person for the flight and 4 nights hotel...

I had my bach party at the Venetian and I loved it. Great pool scene and good party vibe at Tao.

Hard ROck HOTEL!!! OMG! The best time, the best drinks and an awesome crowd! Its fof the strip though.
We also stayed at t Venetian...very romanic and Tao is downstairs...great night club/restaurant.
If you want to stay outside of Vegas for a night...loews lake Las Vegas was a treat. Very romantic...great restaurant. Its about 20 minutes from the strip and it has great scenery, quiet, great pool./jacuzzi!

I also loved the palms and yeah the cab ride was very quick, and cheap and didnt bother me at all. People always made it seem like it was SOOO far and a long ride, but not at all. Every friday they have a big pool party, and even on other days the pool area is good. I have to say i wasnt that crazy about the clubs at the palms. It was OK, the music was horrible. And we had to pay $40 to get in bc you get a pass with access to all the clubs but i left shortly after so wasnt worth it. Yeah i get to keep the pass for a year or so but again not worth it, i still recommend it though.
If you want more fancy then Bellagio. mandalay bay is also good for a young crowd
with hard rock hotel, if you are going end of april or after that, just keep in mind that every sunday they have Rehab sunday pool party and will be INSANE there, well if you two wanna go then perfect bc you get right in if you stay there, but if you two dont want to go just keep this in mind

i second hard rock!!! i had the best time there. The pool is great, there is even a little area that looks like the beach. it's just a young fun crowd ( not too young, I'm 33 & i fit in)

I went on my way to hawaii for for my honeymoon and we stayed at the palms tower which is right next to the palms. its brand new and friggin amazing. mandalay bay is also awesome. there are alot of restaurants in mandalay bay and the pool area is really nice.
