Where do you suggest we stay in Vegas?

I'm researching places to stay, DH and I have both been there a few times but only once together in a group. we want to go see a few shows go out to dinner and just have some fun. i stayed at luxlor and didn't like it, ive stayed at the tropicana and it was ok but i heard they re did it!

i cant get 5 days in the tropicana for a just about 500 for 5 days, can anyone suggest another place to stay?

Mandalay Bay! Tropicana is very old. My friend refers to the curtains as grandma print We stayed there are first year. I've stayed at Ballys, Bellagio, Flamingo (pretty decent and has a great pool), MGM, Mandalay, Excalibur and Tropicana.

Mandalay is nice, I also liked the Luxor. Ceasars is really nice too!

When DH and I went to Vegas, we stayed at the Tropicana. It was okay, I mean if you can find another place for a great price, then go there lol

I've stayed at:

Treasure Island - beautiful! nice pool area, the hotel rooms were really nice

NYNY - really fun, great atmosphere, i like the location

MGM - Way too big, a little outdated for my liking

Palms - LOVED it. Great, young atmosphere, great food

Monte carlo - Lots of kids and families.

Oh yeah, I stayed at Monte Carlo also. That wasn't bad either.

I want to stay at the Palms, but I hate it's so far from the strip!

Oh yeah, I stayed at Monte Carlo also. That wasn't bad either.

I want to stay at the Palms, but I hate it's so far from the strip!

The cab ride was quick and cheap. We'd just take it to the bellagio and then walk to wherever we wanted from there. One day we walked instead of taking a cab and it was scary. I didn't realize it was like a highway, lol.

The pool area is INSANE. I jsut love the hotel... even though it is off the strip. It's not like it's downtown. it's a 2 minute cab ride!

when i booked the palms, i got stay one night, get one free. :)

I dont know of many hotels since I stay with BIL when we go.

A few years ago I stayed in the Bellagio, courtesey of my old boss, so i'm sure that is $$. Beautiful hotel! Food=delish!

I did see the show Love by the Beatles. I loveeeed it!!!!! (I went in thinking I would hate it).

well the hooters hotel is 50 a night

The Flamingo!!!!!!! I always stay there and I LOVE it! It is centrally located and that helps a lot. The gambling is pretty good and the food is also. I can not recommend this place enough. The delux rooms are recently renovated so they're not bad, but the Go rooms are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Totally worth the money for the upgrades.

I stayed there too. The rooms are nice. The first time we were they they were in the middle of renovating so we had a so-so room. The second time, it was really nice. They have such a great pool too and happy hour!

I like that hotel because it's right in the middle of everything so perfect location!

I have seen rooms or stayed at all the following and would recommend any of them:

Luxor
MGM
Mandalay Bay
Venetian
Palazzo (best rooms)
Palms
Palms (Fantasy Tower)
Rio (ok, outdated, I dont really like the Rio actually)
